Dead battery, no support.

Rare do I write a review on purchases, however, one of the four TPMS sensors was dead out of the box. After installing all four sensors on the tires by removing the wheels, breaking the tire beads, removing one side of the tire to expose the TPMS sensor, I removed the old sensor and installed the new sensor. I then used an EL-50448 TPMS relearn tool on all 4 tires. The first one on the driver's side front was not able to be activated after going through the relearn sequence twice. So I removed the wheel and went through the effort to take the new TPMS sensor off and put an old one back on. I then went through the relearn sequence again and all four tires beeped. I then contacted Roadfar for replacement of just the one malfunctioning TPMS sensor, but the reply by Roadfar was that I should go through Amazon for a refund, or upload a video or pictures showing proof their product was malfunctioning. I am not sure how to show battery strength of a TPMS sensor since such devices either work or they do not. The batteries are not replaceable. While I should have replaced these TPMS sensors right away, I waited until warmer weather, as such, my purchase is outside the 30-day replacement window. Another lesson learned. While the description of the product by Roadfar shows, "Trustworthy Quality- Considering the quality of the product, 10 out of every 100 tire pressure sensors will be selected for on-site inspection to ensure that customers can use it with confidence.", take that with a grain of salt or two. All I requested was replacement of one of the sensors, not all of them, and I really do not want to go through the effort to remove all the TPMS sensors. Boo on Roadfar for not standing behind their product. IF one of the four sensors was bad out of the box, I am not confident the other three will last very long. Never thought I should test the new TPMS sensors before mounting inside my tires.

Work great once the right ones are sent and the right installer has the right tool!’

These work great for my 2013 Chevy Equniox...once they sent the correct ones! The first ones sent were not for this car. I ordered the right ones, but they sent the wrong ones. Unfortunately, I didn’t know until Costco installed and they didn’t work. I gave Costco the instructions on here about not needing to program, so they just installed them. But then they didn’t activate them saying I told them not to. No, that’s not what I said. Anyway, they didn’t work anyway. I contacted the seller who directed me to go to Goodyear in town. They spoke directly to Goodyear who pulled them off and found they were the wrong ones. The seller then sent the correct ones and paid for installation at Goodyear. I appreciated that they backed up the product and made it right. I recommend the product and the seller. But compare the ones you get with the picture on here. Take a picture of them too. If there is any question if they look the same, contact the seller before installation. Also, I’m still confused about what to tell the installer as far as programming and activating. And some places don’t have the right tool. As far as simply using the car pairing mode, the seller said a tool is needed. I’m not sure if just doing the pairing mode was enough to get them to work once the right ones were installed. I would contact the seller to ask about all this too before you venture out to have them installed. The seller is helpful. Overall I would do it again. Definitely saves money.

Pretty Good Part

I have used several of these kits now, 4 TPMS sensors, every one has programmed fine and worked as advertised, none are over a year old yet so I can't speak to longevity. However the most recent set I installed has one dead sensor, bummer since the tire has to be removed to install a new one. I will check with Amazon to see how warranty is handled since this part is now installed in a tire. Good Part and I have been able to program them all so far except for the one dead on arrival part.Edit: after 30 days one more of the sensors in my last purchase suddenly quit broadcasting. My scan tool said the battery was good but the information was bad, it would not re connect with the car. I still had the extra 3 I purchased to replace the first one that failed, they only come in a 4 pak so I installed one more new sensor. I am worried now since 2 failed already the other 2 in that purchase may also be bad. Again, I used several sets of these prior with good success. This purchase not so much.

GM tire pressure sensors worked for me.

I ordered a set of these for my 2008 Silverado . I had a set of aftermarket wheels to install. Over a yr later and they are still working fine. This fall I put my original wheels on for the winter and found my sensors were all dead. I ordered another set. You can't beat the price. Any other place to buy these they want $30+ for each plus installation. The ones most places sell don't have the freq programed in so they can use them on all models and need a scan tool to program the freq. If you have a diff model vehicle the freq may be diff so be sure to order the right sensors. I also ordered this and it worked perfectly. Be aware it does NOT come with the 9V battery. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9267ZF3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

Installed in 2008 Chevy Impala and programmed without any issues

I have bought these so far for a 2008 Impala and 2008 Tahoe. One one, I just screwed them to the original valve stem and in the other I had to install the sensor and the stem. Both were no problem. I programmed these with a cheap programmer and they've been running for years in one and months in the other. This has nothing to do with the product, but if you are installing on a car where you have to press lock and unlock on the key fob, roll down your windows before you do this. I didn't and ended up locking the keys in the car. Had to go grab the other set to get back in.

Tpms not working

I have bought tpms here before and they worked fine but this time I got one that for some reason it didn't work but the other three are fine. Not really happy with the fact that I put it on just to find out one didn't work and had to replace it with another one. Hopefully this was a one time thing.
