European style lightbulbs

Nice warm light
These 60w equivalent bulbs produce a much more warmer yellow tone into the room (without a lampshade) than your typical USA E27 warm light bulbs. They are not an "in your face" bright light, but instead, sets more of a "romantic" mood/tone. I recently brought home this 1910's light fixture from England which had the original B22 lamp socket. I had difficulty finding B22 light bulbs in our local stores, so Amazon to the rescue. I've ordered and tried the Corn Cob 100w daylight equivalent bulbs which were so bright that I felt like I was looking directly into the sun.. And I purchased B22 to USA E27 adapter so I could use American bulbs, but found regardless of wattage the light output seemed a bit harsh though the crystals of this fixture. The color of the bulbs in my space allows me to leave the light on without putting too much brightness into the room. The bulbs would probably not be suitable for reading lamps or for areas that require bright light. They are more of a hall table light.

These European light are hard to find but are sold here and they give beautiful lighting. Don’t think twice just buy them you won’t be sorry.

These cheap bulbs lasted less than a month until they started flickering and many of the individual LEDs simply failed. I guess what you get what you pay for. But with Amazon it is getting increasingly difficult to find products that are sourced from China and probably come from the same factory and have any quality control. It is so disappointing that the only one who makes any money is a Amazon and perhaps a Chinese factory. Shame on you, Amazon and you are metrics lack of care to provide your customer with quality choices, even if those choices come with a higher cost.
