Just arrived but on initial evaluation these candles were exactly what I was looking for. Flickering is subtle but doesn’t look fake. Candles illuminate nicely in the white base, based on the candle size. Remote shut off is handy for turning the candles on and to control the flicker.Bought a second set to use in conjunction with these at the sound meditations I host. I’ve been searching for quite some time and glad that I found these at an amazing $.Quite possibly will buy a third set for the larger venues I use.

These candles were the best purchase! One small problem on my set was the battery + and - were backwards. So just switch them around. Easily remedied.Other than that, I used the candles at Halloween and then I used them at Christmas, same batteries, never had to switch them out. For Christmas, they were in my windows. You can leave the On switch on (I did the entire month, from Thanksgiving weekend until New Years). The candles have a remote, you can set them on a timer, up to 8 hours, and you can make them solid or flicker like an actual candle. And you can adjust the brightness as well. At Halloween they looked very haunting and at Christmas they made the house look warm and inviting.But the coolest part I discovered was that when we set the timer, the next day the candles automatically turned themselves back on and off at the same times and I never had to touch them again the whole month! So we had them set to come on about 4 pm and set the 8 hr timer, and they did it on that schedule the entire month of Dec. I was thrilled with them.They also look realistic. The first time my mom saw them, she thought we'd left real candles burning in our windows while we were away from the house. (Yeah...no mom!) So....other than having to switch the batteries around, these are very wonderful and I highly recommend.

Love these flameless candles! For years I had a fireplace candle stand I begged my husband to buy me, but I never used it because candles are expensive and it heated the house too much ( we live in Southern California.) i saw a YouTube influencer with these so I gave them a try and fell in love with the ambiance it gave the room. No need to turn each candle on, as it has a remote you can set on a timer, as well as choose flickering or steady light. Much safer, than real candles, too!

Full disclosure: I have two sets of these candles. I purchased the first set years ago, and the second set recently.LOOKS: These look like real candles, and if you set them to "Candle" on the remote, they will flicker. No, it doesn't look 100% like a flame candle, but it will create nice ambiance without the risk of fire. (Since I have curious pets, the fire risk is a real issue.) The candles themselves look realisticDURABILITY: These candles have held up over time. I will say that because they are real wax, knocking them over / dropping them will crack them. I've had one mishap, and one of the candles has a crack in it. It still works, however. The one issue with durability is the battery covers; a few of mine have a tendency to pop out like a jack-in-the-box (and the batteries go flying!). The package includes an extra set of covers, however. I do wish, though, that they'd offer replacement covers separately. (They don't. I've already asked, and I've already run out of extra covers from my first set.)BATTERY LIFE: I generally only use the candles in the evening for a few hours. That being said, I do light them every night during the winter months, and I don't need to change the batteries often. They batteries in these candles last 2-3 times longer than the same AA rechargeable batteries in a similar set of candles from a big box store.REMOTE CONTROL: It works fine and has clear labels. I have had to replace the battery in the remote once in the last several years. The set includes 2 remotes, which is handy if one gets lost (see the curious pets, above).Overall, I recommend the set, and I liked it enough to buy a second set recently for another room.

Love these / quite a few candles/ battery powered/ can be set to automatically come on for an allotted time. Great for lighting up rooms at night. Needless to say useful during power outages. Looking forward to putting them in the windows during holidays. Price great . Remote control- so good for those with disabilities.Strongly recommend these .

One candle in the pack didn't work but, I needed them a few days later for a gathering so I didn't return them. They feel like real candles because they are real wax with a battery pack inside. They give off a very nice glow and the flame is low enough in the candle that it's not seen. They're okay and they served their purpose but, I wouldn't buy them again.

These have a very realistic looking flicker to the flame, the wax composition feels and looks real, and the remote control makes it that much easier to control settings from a distance!
