Best Typist Switch Ever Owned, My Daily Driver

The best typist switch I have owned. The low triggering force is the most distinct feature of this switch. I am picky about the spacebar, but this is the most satisfying spacebar switch I have ever used: light but with feedback. The rebound is just enough. I have Leobog Nimbus V3 and it was my favorite switch due to the performance on the Leobog Hi86. But I didn't expect Dracula switch had a very easy win over that: lighter to trigger and obvious rebound to give me better feedback. Just love it and it becomes my daily driver. Like any switch, the trigger force can be different for a few grams so some tests will be needed if you care about the consistency of the switches. The switch is a little bit smaller than Leobog Nimbus V3 but when installed, it is stable.

Comfortable, Silent, and 100% success rate with the switches I've installed thus far. Buy them.

If you're looking for a quiet switch, with a decent amount of resistance and a slight tactile bump, these are fantastic in my experience. I've just installed nearly 5 packs of these Akko V3 Pro Penguin switches into two Aula F99 Pros, along with some silicone o-ring dampeners. My girlfriend and I share a small space, and both work from home, so hearing each other clack away (her on Blues for a while, even) became a little distracting for both of us, and she had been getting some 'compliments on her typing speed' while on work calls. These provide enough resistance to comfortably rest on the keys without any fear of accidental actuation. The bump is prominent, but fades quickly, and is less of a strain to get past during the actuation than a standard D-shaped tactile switch. There is minimal, and I mean minimal noise from either the bottom out or the reset of the switch during typing. This is enhanced a bit further in my case with the o-ring dampeners, but I don't believe they were at all necessary. The price is affordable, and every single one of the switches I installed today worked and registered a keystroke with zero issues. These were packed in bins, individually placed in a plastic mold, as opposed to loose in a container. None of the pins were remotely bent upon inspection and during installation - as a result.I've got nothing but great things to say about these switches. If you're on the fence, you won't be disappointed.

Smooth, lightweight, and quiet

(Reviewing Akko Dracula)Idk why Amazon says they're frequently returned, because they are pretty much what the product page says. These are the best switches I own (out of around 6 different types I tried so far and a few more if including test switches). I had silent switches before, so what sold me on these was their smoothness. They are the least scratchy switches I've tried yet.At 35g of force they're so lightweight I had to remove some modifications I had in my largest keycaps that were adding some weight; so the switch would come back up with no delay when released. Coming from Kailh Box Silent Browns (65g) I also feel I get less tired typing on these.Noise profile: very quiet, deeper sound (my preference).Smoothness: linear feel, very smooth, minimal stem wobbling, and very light to the touch.Value for money: not the cheapest at $17 / 45 units ($34 for a TKL set), but it delivers, so no regrets.

Rosewood - Nice Creamy Switches, Terrible RGB

The Rosewoods are nice creamy sounding switches. Awesome packaging, way better than a bag full of loose switches. They are light to type on and feel good. The only problem is the RGB pass through. All colors are converted to red. Seriously, no matter what color you choose it’s going to be red once it goes through these switches. If you don’t care about RGB then go for it.

Outstanding Switches – Way Better Than Expected

I love these. I bought a $300 Razer keyboard and, of course, it being Razer, the switches were pretty meh. Super overrated. These, even though they’re really cheap, absolutely outperformed them in responsiveness, sound, and feel. It’s honestly kind of ridiculous how much better they are. Obviously sound and feel is subjective, but this company is killing it — any of their switches would be a huge and worth it upgrade.

Silent, tactile and perfect

The media could not be loaded. Video note: the first switch (Z) is the Penguin, (X) is the KALH Hush Deep Sea Tactile, and (C) is the Boba U4 65g. The rest are Penguins. No dampeners or anything, stock.Extremely consistent switches. The amount of lube they come with is perfect for me. These are a little heavier than your Gateron browns (by 10g I think) but it wasn't much of a noticeable change for me. They are the quietest switches I have found that also have a very strong bump. In my case I was interested in a sharp bump to give me feedback on when it was actually pressed. There is no travel.I tried the Gateron Browns, knockoff blues, K.A.L.H Hush Deep Sea Tactile, and Gazzew Boba U4's (65g) and the Shrimps (67g).I noticed the these require noticeably less force (these are 55g) and they are quieter than all 3 of the others mentioned. The Deep Sea's being the loudest, with the Shrimps and Boba's being second loudest. (All 4 were quiet, but the Penguins were quietest). The Shrimps had a noticeably sharper bump but a less refined feel. They were closer to your cherry MX blues but felt hollow and cheap. The penguins have a slight "thud" and a smooth feeling click all the way through, aside from the pronounced bump before activation.I also noticed that when fully assembled in my keyboard, they had the least vertical "wiggle" than the others mentioned thus far. This is not really noticeable though. They sit higher than the Boba's and lower than the Deep Sea's. Very minimal difference. I didn't get the Shrimps recorded in the video.Overall perfect this is the perfect switch. A lighter version would be nice though (its a little lighter than avg for these types it seems). I noticed it also has got some padding on the bottom for quieting them, but it doesn't feel mushy. If you need them for a full keyboard though buy directly, it should be cheaper even with shipping. Will be buying these for all my keyboards from now on. Buy em!
