Rechargeable red dot
This is a brilliant idea. A rechargeable red dot at a great price. It comes with 4 different screw sizes with 2 lengths for each size (essential as I needed 2 different sizes - one for a plate and one for the dot onto the plate). The charging cover is magnetic and seals the dot preventing solvents and oils from fogging the dot when cleaning the gun. The dot is small and precise. I did not find the auto brightness adjustment bright enough but the buttons were easy to press and I found a brightness I liked. Mounted on a Walther pdp it needed no adjustment and I shot 2 inch groups with 3 out of 10 bullseyes at ten yards. I am 75 years old. Just buy it!

Best dot sight of all that I tried
I ran the whole circuit with all the major brands for a micro dot for my p365 and Osight pulled out far and away ahead of the competition. Very sharp and defined dot. Rechargeable with a charging cover that is good for countless charges. My favorite feature is there is a lens on the back of the halo enclosing the lens so all your glass front and back is easy to clean therefore always clean Quickly purchased a second one for my wifeβs p365 as well.

Works great for practical shooting or defense.
I have long been the guy who gets tormented by the other guys in my squad for using OLight lights on my firearms and have yet to have been given a reason, by them or the products themselves, to stop and pay 4 times as much for a surefire. So when I saw OLight made a red dot I had to try it out.It works great. I mounted it on my Echelon using the factory RMR pins with no issues and it's rock solid. Zeroed @ 25m with less than 15 rounds and held for about 300 rounds no problem so far. The charging case is convenient and easy to use, shake awake works great, and the window is HUGE, like SRO or CMore huge. Some folks like that, some don't, but I think it gets me on target faster while competing. I normally run an EOTech EFLX on the Echelon but I think the OLight is going to stay on there for a while, at least to see how it holds up after a couple of months and a few thousand rounds. I did drop the gun on concrete with the sight on it already and it didn't have any issues.UPDATE: 6/5/25 Still running on my Echelon with zero issues after a thousand plus rounds. Havenβt had to charge the cover still and rarely have to even put it in the red dot. Solid buy for sure if youβre not a hardcore tactical LARPer and want the Trijicon or Aimpoint cred.

Large window, clear glass
Includes all necessary tools and parts.Easy direct mount to my FNX.Has no alignment lugs, relies only on the screws.I've yet to get some range time to test the hold. Will update once I do.Simple to adjust; not too stiff, nice tactile clicks.Looks great; nice big window that's not too much. The charging system is a great setup.Seems to be working well. Will update after long term use.

Does not hold a zero
I want to like this sight, I really do. The rechargeable case is a really cool concept. However it does not hold the zero. I zero'd the sight using a laser boresight, shot 50 rounds of 9mm, and it had already drifted off of the zero. I rezero'd it. It seemed to be resistant to me smacking it with my hand and on the table but once I put another 50 rounds down range it drifted off of the zero. I can not recommend this product because it can not be relied on. So in total I've only put around 100 rounds of 9mm, so maybe it just needs more time, but it is not a good first impression.Edit: Don't know if this will upload in the right order but the first image is after sitting in my holster and nightstand (after I had already rezero'd). 2nd image is me zeroing it again. Third and 4th image is after just swinging the gun in the air like a madman. Not even shooting.Edit 2: Ended up getting sent another OSight and it ended up un-zeroing in the same exact way. Decided to get a Holosun 507 Competition and I'm much happier for it. Not getting the same zero issues with the Holosun. I am disappoint that I'm going to be missing out on the auto-brightness and the rechargeable sight but being able to hold a zero is non-negotiable. Hopefully they get this issue ironed out.

It's durable and holds a zero
The Olight Osights hold their zero even though abuse. First, my pistol fell off the bench twice onto a concrete floor and it bounced to a stop and it held it's zero both times in spite of that. Second, to clean my gun I removed the sight from the slide, cleaned the gun in an ultrasonic, replaced the Osight and there was no change in the zero. I have four Osights and five others and so far the Osight is my pick as a durable, priced right sight that is virtually maintenance free. Charging is easy and I don't bring the charging hood with me as the sight has plenty of residual time built in. This is my experience and I'm just saying what I have learned as a buyer because I paid full price for every sight I've got. My Osights are great so far and I'll post an update here if there is something worth saying.
