The media could not be loaded. After buying a property that came with astroturf lawn I have spent the past year sweeping it with a broom and failing to keep it neat and tidy. We have a lot of potted plants that drop plant waste onto the grass, and we also had a rabbit for a time that would leave droppings on the grass.Although I thought I was doing a decent job of cleaning all of this up at least once a week with a broom, when I first used this artificial grass sweeper however, I opened the waste basket to find all manner of "bits" that had been hiding around the garden (including, to my horror, rabbit faces from a rabbit who had passed months before).The sweeper arrives in a large box and requires some assembly to attach the handle etc. It was relatively easy and I did it on my own in about 20 minutes. It has a nice long cable and is relatively lightweight considering its size. It looks just like a normal lawn mower but instead it has brushes underneath that sweep and fluff up the grass pile and deposit it into the waste basket on the back.I hadn't even noticed just how much the lawn had become flat over time until I used this machine and it ended up looking lush and green again.It runs smoothly and is relatively quite compared to its mower counterparts. It sweeps up quickly so you don't have to move over an area particularly slowly. I do recommend for heavily soiled lawns that you go over it a couple of times to ensure all the embedded bits get picked up.The only downside I found was that if you have a raised edge to your lawn and can't run the sweeper half over it, there is quite a large noticeable space where you can't sweep the outskirts of your grass. This then requires hand broom sweeping but at least it saves time and effort on the rest of the grass.With the recent turn of the weather and the oncoming autumn, we have had a lot of leaves, petals, and wilted plants fall onto the grass. And although this is a pricey piece of kit (199.99 at the time of order) it has proven to be a real game changer for tidying up the garden. I only wish I had discovered it sooner so the grass could have been looked after for much longer.If your artificial grass is looking a little flat or you don't have the lower back to be sweeping it every other day this autumn, I would highly recommend this sweeper.

Powerful and effective. Really pulls up the pile of the artificial grass.

The first unit arrived without any bits that are required to assemble it, this is 5th of May 2024. Very disappointed as a replacement item wasn't available until 12th of June 2024 so I cancelled the replacement. A few days later I saw the lead time had been reduced to a few days to I ordered another. The item arrived quickly and upon its arrival I opened the box while my wife videoed me just in case items were missing again but this time everything was there. I didn't assemble it until today, Sunday 12th May 2024, that's when the problems arose:The assembly instructions are very unclear and confusing, but, eventually I got the thing assembled.The item is advertised as self-propelled which it is... BUT... the thing is so fast no matter what setting you have it on you will need to be a sprinter to keep up with it and this makes using it very hard work as you have to hold it back. Because of this I'm hoping to return it as for me it's impossible to use.

Lifted my false lawn brilliant

I'd ordered this for my mother who has health issues so had changed her lawn to artificial grass a while back.She was unable to keep up with real grass and found the artificial stuff a lot better with needing less maintenance.This works quite well in clearing debris which have fallen onto it and clears up quite substantial amounts including twigs.It's simple to use and fairly light weight, only issue is it's powered and does require a mains socket. I tried it in my garden before giving it to her and it worked quite well on my lawn, it picked up a fair amount of the freshly cut grass and almost gave the lawn a plumper look.You can also use this on driveways and block paving. As long as the surface is flat it's food too go but be warned on drives it can throw debris upwards, it might be better to use a leaf blower on there.It's very easy to set up, takes five mins and can be folded down when not in use, so easily goes into a shed.
