I was skeptical as there were mixed reviews. But this is great does exactly what it’s supposed to do and great value

Took a little time to work out how to make it work.But works brilliantly even though tiles with the prongs filed off. Superb

I have never used or seen one of these before, so when it arrived and I took it out the jiffy bag I was a little disappointed to get not instructions. I had to look at the listing page to work it out. Also I thought this would put the fixings in the wall with no other tools required, but that is not the case. You do need a drill to first frill a hold that the fixings can slot through before using this. If I had not read the listing page, I would not have the correct information about how far the screw needed to be inserted before using the tool. There are some of the diagrams on the page that are too small to read as well, so I am wondering what I am missing. Once I knew what I was supposed to do I found this product easy to use, strong and sturdy and it does a good job. Once you have drilled your hole, put your fixing through then clamped on to the screw with the device and used the trigger to pull the screw back and clamping the fixing in place you then need to press the silver lever to release the device back to a start position. It is a good piece of kit, but should come with instructions to avoid any mistakes with the wrong screw depth.

Perfect for using to fix shelfs etc on plasterboard

I’ve tried lots of different plastic fixings for plaster board. This is by far the superior fixing method. Small hole required to push through the steel clip. Fasten the grips to the end and squeeze the grips to open the fastener behind the plasterboard. Then unscrew and attach your wall fixing (TV, etc. ). Great piece of kit.

The media could not be loaded. Generally I find one use cheap tools to be a waste of money - not always but mostly. However the 'Cavity Wall Anchor Setting Fixing - Come with 20Pcs M4 x 38 Metal Plasterboard Fixings' has pleasantly surprised me.The tool itself is well built and feels solid enough for many uses. The main trigger mechanism is nice and smooth and the release trigger works well.The included fixings seems to be decent quality and would do a decent job in a cavity wall.At a price of £14.98 this is a lot cheaper than some named alternatives that essentially do exactly the same job. Definitely worth the money for anyone with a modern house that has plasterboard hollow walls.
