I’ve tried countless hair dyes over the years, but Madison Reed’s 5NNN shade is hands-down the best at-home color I’ve ever used. I have naturally dark brown hair with a fair amount of stubborn gray, and I wanted a deep, neutral tone with full coverage — this delivered perfectly.The application process was smooth and user-friendly, with clear instructions and thoughtful extras like gloves, barrier cream, and a cleansing wipe. What really stood out was the lack of harsh chemical smell — no eye-watering ammonia here!Shade 5NNN gave me a rich, even, darkest neutral brown tone that didn’t skew red or ashy — just a pure, deep brunette. I normally use Naturtint to color my hair but before a recent vacation I didn’t feel like doing the full head so I tried this root touch up. I am so impressed at the results that I’ve decided to try their normal dye next time I want a full coloring. With Natirtint the color would start to fade and hair start to look duller after a couple of weeks. This touch up continues to make my hair look shiny and with good color saturation.

The media could not be loaded. Product works great but the quantity is less than half of what I needed to cover my entire head. I could only do half of the front part and had to use the second one. Instead of advertising as two applications it should be for one application. In salon you can get root touch up in $80 and they do it for you, here if you buy the product you will have to do the work and that too in almost same price. I wanted to save on the salon visit but this dint work for me.

This root touch up kit is very easy to use and the result is almost professional looking. The directions are easy to follow. There is no unpleasant smell. I've used several brands of root touch up kits. This is the best by far!

I don’t use this to do my roots I’d use it to do my whole head but unfortunately I can’t find their product to do a whole head so I buy this and have to use both of them to do my head my hair is thin and all white but it covers very well you’ve never know it was white And it’s good for your hair

This product is absolutely amazing. I did a lot of research first before purchasing it as I have never colored my own roots...It was simple to use...It has really noooooo smell like what we experience at the salon...It came with everything it said it would and a BONUS conditioner that was so nice and felt like I just walked out of the salon...I will definitely repurchase again instead of going to the salon every month for $120...The only thing I will try next time is to leave it on and apply it thicker next time....But I was nervous....Still turned out absolutely incredible....
