Microsoft Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 (Xbox One)

Works well with little fuss. Plug, pair, play!Uses 2.4ghz rather than bluetooth so no input delay. Excellent product. I'd advise paying extra for this official microsoft one for the "it just works" factor

If anyone else has any problems with pairing on PC.After you've plugged in the dongle and the system has installed the necessary things, and the controller still won't pair. Plug the controller directly into the PC with a cable. But don't unplug the dongle from the computer!After about half an hour, if you unplug the controller, it will automatically switch to wireless mode and they are now paired. The little white light on the dongle will stay on. From now on, everything should work as you want. If you want to change controllers, you have to do the same process, only with the new controller.Update: And turn off: "The system may turn off this device to save power" in the device managerI hope this helps someone

Works fine and of course did specify that there was no retail packaging which is ok, but it does state it should come with an extension cable with it did not, not quite false advertising but if there is a reason others seem to get this and I did not after paying the same price then this is a slight issue

I purchased this usb device so I could pair some xbox wireless headphones to my gaming pc. It was very simple to setup and work and the headphones work great so it's five stars from me.

Apology:Let me get this bit out of the way first - I originally believed that the device shipped to me was a cheap Chinese knockoff and not a genuine Microsoft Adapter.I gave a bad rating to the seller for my error that thankfully Amazon has struck off the seller's rating.I can only apologise profoundly for the stress this may have caused the seller.The controller adapter comes in a small baggie devoid of any documentation. This is what originally caused my concerns.I missed the explanation for this in the device listing.Having spoke to both Amazon and the seller, I am 100% certain this is a genuine device.Review:As it turns out, you do not need any documentation.Just plug it into your Windows 10/11 computer, and the drivers are automatically loaded for the adapter.(You may need to be connected to the Internet to get the latest version of the driver)Use the pairing buttons on the controller and the adapter (located top END of adapter) to link the devices.And that's it.It works flawlessly with ALL of my XBox One controllers - from the from the first XBox One controllers to the latest versions.This includes the Elite1 and Elite2 controllers.The range is at least 8 metres and supports multiple controllers at the same time.Also comes with a 1 metre extension cable.Buy with confidence, and Happy Gaming.

Plugs into a USB port easily, but incredibly hard to pull it back out. Got a full refund from Amazon, had to use pliers to get the hardware out in pieces. Hoping I haven't damaged one of my ports using this absolute scam of a product. Can't believe this is official Microsoft hardware.

Excellent product, works perfectly and it IS a genuine Microsoft Wireless Adapter.Windows being Windows there are installation issues now that have nothing to do with the seller or the product.The drivers do not auto install on Windows 11 and 10 has had issues as well so here’s what you need to do…Go to Settings and onto the Windows Update page.Click on Optional Updates and there is the option to install the driver for the Xbox Wireless Adapter. (You may need to plug the Adapter in first and click check for updates before the driver appears in the optional updates list)After it’s installed, press and hold the button on the end of the Adapter and a little white light will flash.Hold the Pairing button on your Controller and you’re good to go.To turn off the controller just hold the Controller power button for 10s and it will turn off.

Plug n play for pc. Can't go wrong, official licenced dongle, response time was instant incredible product
