God quality cloth material my son could see well out of it during the day but when nightfall came he had trouble so he had to use a flashlight while trick or treating! But My 7 year old loved it, he went as Steve for Halloween. Everyone recognized him while out trick ot treating which made him feel good it fit great and looks just like steve from Minecraft. It was a success for him

It's advertised as children's size but realistically this is made as one size fits all and the proportions on the eye mesh are really scaled more for a teen or adult head. With that, I had to make some adjustments to make this work for my 7yr old, who is above average sized more like a 10yr old.You can see some of the changes I made in the last two pictures. If you use a box cutter, you can carefully cut the felt on the front side and the back side (I flipped it inside out to do this) to expose the rest of the mesh in the middle. This let him have the full field of vision on that panel. I also added about 2 inches of padding to the head band inside so it would sit higher off his head. I just took a thin piece of foam and duct taped it to the head band. He actually said it's more comfortable that way anyway.The quality on this is fine. It's basically a large collapsable fabric cube (the ones that fit in the 11x11 cube organizers), flipped upside-down, with a headband sewn in. It looks better than the half masks that come with the regular costumes and my son was ecstatic to put together his own Steve costume with this as the head.All in all, kid is happy. Minor adjustments took about half an hour.

The strap is way too large for a child's head. I had to tie it onto my son and even then he said it was uncomfortable and kept falling off. Also it's very flimsy and hard to see out of.

My son loves this. He loves Minecraft and he was Steve for Halloween. It was a super easy costume. We just needed to buy this head and one of the Minecraft swords. Then he wore a plain aqua shirt and jeans.

Although originally purchased for decorations, this has been the gift that keeps on giving- it is a consistent accessory for dress-up days.

This is the best looking Steve head/mask on the market, but unfortunately it falls flat in all other aspects. The first one I ordered arrived broken. The replacement was very uncomfortable on my son’s head. We found out on Halloween night that he could not see through the mesh panels at dark which made the entire costume useless. He ended up wearing his costume from last year for trick or treating. Waste of money.
