This is my go-to face cleanser that I have been using for years. I use a makeup-removing wipe first to remove the heavier residue. I then finish by washing my face with this product. In my experience, it provides the perfect, thorough cleanse without drying out my skin. My skin feels so clean going to bed after using. Also, a little product goes a long way so the bottle lasts for a good long time. Hope they continue to make this product forever! :)

Works perfectly!My skin is dry/normal oil production, fine pores, fine lines, sun damage (I'm 57), Dermatitis.While showering I massage the soap all over my face, neck and decolletage. My skin feels nice and clean after rinsing with no residue. After a couple days of washing I noticed my skin felt slightly bumpy, not visible bumps just texture wasn't smooth but no redness. So, I kept using. After about 5 days, I noticed my skin was nice and smooth. My skin was not red, no breakouts, no rash (Dermatitis). I did notice my skin was a bit dry. The soap actually exfoliates my skin. I follow with the Alpha moisturizer being careful to avoid delicate eye area. Once I did this for a week my skin was smooth, texture was firmer as well. As for my sun damage, no change.. sun damage repair is not claimed but one can only hope 😌

This is the best facial wash I've ever used and probably have been using for 20 years now. Eons ago, I used a similar unscented one from Neutrogena but in the early 90s they changed formulations, added fragrance to everything, and it was horrible! Luckily after much trial and error, I found Alpha Hydrox (now "Alpha") and have never looked back - please DO NOT waste your money on "expensive" face washes! Take those savings and invest in real estate, stocks and your education! This one is FANTASTIC, honestly THE BEST, and it's made right here in the United States, where you can trust it's done correctly. The company is amazing and I highly recommend the 12% Alpha Hydrox "cream" (in a tube,) and their 14% glycolic acid toner/peel - FANTASTIC (you will wake up with baby soft skin!) and also a great bang for the bucks. PLEASE try this cleanser if you're on the fence - you'll love it!!

Ive used AH products off and on for years. I started off using their AHA creams which really worked wonders in my younger years but weren't nearly as effective when I tried them later in life. Perhaps I have tougher, thicker skin?!Anyway, I like this wash a lot. No detergent feel or unnecessary suds. Feels like a gel. Leaves skin clean but not too dried out. Ill definitely use this again as its effective and seems to make my skin look better.I do caution users to use sunscreen when using AHA products. I developed spider veins (damage) on my nose shortly after starting AHA long ago and Im not one who spends even a moderate amount of time outside in the sun. May be a coincidence but you should know that AHA makes you more susceptible to the sun-thats a fact not just my opinion.

I've been using this product for over 20 years. I absolutely love it! I came across it one late night on an infomercial. I ordered it that night and have using it since. My sign is nice and smooth and the dark circles under my eyes have diminished. My smile lines are gone from my cheeks. I'm constantly getting compliments on my skin and am told that I'm looking younger everytime they see me. That really makes me feel really good! I've even been approached by men and women complimenting me on my complexion. All thanks to the Alpha Hydroxy products that I use on a daily basis. I regret that the eye cream has been discontinued. I'm trying other products but I haven't found one that works. I will use Alpha Hydroxy Products until I'm no longer on this earth because they really work.TJ

I’ve been using the facial cleanser since the ‘90s. Does a great job! Can use around eyes and no stinging. Gets all the makeup off. Great product.
