Pilates Balance Ball for support if the small of your back when tilting your pelvis
This ball is versatile and it’s one the my local Club Pilates use when working out on a reformer or on the yoga mat. It is pliable, and soft. It dies the job in helping keeping the pelvis tilted and supporting the small of the back as well. It can be tricky to blow the ball up but the thing is to get the plug into the ball like grease lightening if you are the only one trying to inflate the ball. The ball does not have to be super tight but it would help to have two people to inflate the ball. One to blow it up and another to put the plug in.

Not furniture friendly. Works great on all exercises preformed though.
Great Ball. Do not leave on anything that has paint on it. Tables, furniture of any kind.

THIS BALL WILL EAT AWAY ANY PAINT IT COMES IN CONTACT WITH - DO NOT BUY
Instead of "exercise ball", this should be called "strange round chemical object that will turn any painted surface into a melting, sticky foam". If you want to spend time and money repainting your walls or any painted furniture that this ball happens to come in contact with, this is a perfect ball for you. Otherwise, do not get this thing anywhere near your home.I bought this ball a couple years ago and had it in a spacious area with carpet all over the floor. There was no issue (obviously because the ball had been in contact only with the carpet) until one day I placed it on the back of a couch and the ball touched the wall. The next morning the ball had melted away all the paint from the wall to such a degree that it left a hole behind. I did not suspect the ball, as I have never seen any object react to paint like that. Instead, I thought our painters messed up, as we had painted that wall four-five months before that incident. When I called the painters, they were in shock to see what happened. They had never seen anything like it before. The poor guys agreed to redo that wall, which I now realize was not their fault.A few days ago, I decided to repurchase the exact same ball to make things easier (it was in my purchasing history), not realizing that it was responsible for that previous incident. I placed it on a brand new piece of painted wooden furniture and, the next morning, the paint from the furniture had melted away right where the ball was. When I contacted the furniture manufacturer, they told me that it was probably the ball as they have never had a single issue with unstable paint. I then checked other reviews here, just in case other people had the same issue with chemical reactions as a result of this ball, and voila! Apparently, this ball has been quietly eating away people's painted surfaces for some time now. So if you think I just happened to be unlucky and got a faulty ball, and you are going to be this very lucky person whose ball is going to be just fine, well, nope. Chemistry is chemistry - it doesn't exempt anyone. Rest assured that this ball will ruin your painted stuff too. Do yourself a favor and do not invite a chemical hazard into your home. It is not worth it.
