The best little pocket flashlight ever.
This light is so nice and bright, easy to carry in your pocket, last a very long time. I take my Golden out for walks at night and this little light is so light and fits in your hand easy not bulky and the battery life is great. All my other lights have to many options such as flash and code flash before they even turn off. This one is perfect off and on. I have yet to have it go dead yet. We are usually out for well over an hour and this light just keeps shining. The dim option is great for when you don't want the real bright light plus it saves battery life when its on dim. Push on, double push dim and push off. Simple and light plus very tough! My son uses this for his work and always has it in his pocket. I used it a few times and loved it so much he got me one as a gift and it truly is a great light. Fantastic light from a great company that has been around for years. Streamlight is the best. I still have the original Streamlight pen light from years ago that takes AAAA batteries it just keeps working year after year. Keep lighting the world Streamlight!

Great EDC light
This is a great little flashlight. I bought 2 of them and misplaced one for 4 months in my car in hot to freezing conditions and it held a full charge the entire time. My other one I have carried and used almost every day and I only recharge it every 2 weeks or so just to be safe. The 2 brightness settings are great and the bright setting is usually too bright so that also adds to the longevity of the battery life. The light is lightweight and the clip hold well on a pocket. I can’t really think of a con to the light except for maybe the price but they are nice, lightweight, sturdy and they work well over and over.

Perfect EDC Flashlight
I have the original Streamlight Microstream that uses a single AAA battery and have been using it for years, with rechargeable AAA batteries. I was tempted to get the newest version that has a built-in rechargeable battery and micro USB port for charging but the only downside of the Microstream is its fairly short run time due to its small size. More times than not when I went to use it it would run out of power right in the middle of whatever I was doing. But then I saw the newer Macrostream and knew it would be the perfect replacement because it's only slightly larger and has considerably longer run time, and has the built-in micro USB charging port. I noticed some people complaining that it didn't have a USB type C charging port and I get it, but I don't think it's worth taking a star off just for that. It's nice that it's brighter but I wasn't really concerned about the light output since most uses for a flashlight around the house doesn't require anything super bright, just bright enough to see what you are doing, I was more interested in increased run time. I purchased some Streamlight headlamps in the past and was disappointed that the actual run time was much shorter than what was advertised. So I was pleasantly surprised when the run time on low for the Macrostream ended up being about 8 1/2 hours when I tested it and they claim 8 hours so nice work there. It has the typical solid build quality that I've come to expect from Streamlight and love the pocket clip that allows me to use it as a headlamp with a baseball cap, that has come in handy many times when it was much more convenient to have a hands-free light pointing right where I needed it.So even though the Microstream is smaller, this is still plenty compact and with its longer run time, to me it's the perfect everyday carry (EDC) flashlight for use in and around the house.

Very bright for a small light.
Use it every day all day long. Works great. Very bright for a small light. Battery life could be better.

Insane brightness in a small package
Quite impressed with how bright this little thing winds up being. Bought it for inspecting jet engine parts. Wound up using it on low quite a bit because it’s so bright. The switch to toggle high/low does take some getting used to but it’s not that bad and not worth a star reduction for me.

Battery 🔋 totally DEAD
I SERIOUSLY dislike leaving reviews such as this especially for a product like THIS! I have always sworn by streamlite and will never buy anything else but streamlite but, when my battery dies in such a way that it cannot even recharge itself and it's only ONE MONTH pass the return deadline I'm not happy. Now I've got two choices, buy another, hope it works and send to bogus one back in a dishonest switch-around and take a full on strike against my personal integrity and honesty OR I see how it goes from here by posting my situation as such in order to see what streamlite themselves will do to an ardent customer of their serious quality products and I mean do mean that but just not with this one and I'm certain this situation is to be blamed on streamlite themselves but rather a stocked for too long product and a periodic battery that just wants to not wanna work after hardly 10 hours of use.I love the difference in lumens this light has but it's a little bulky having it hang from my T shirt or wife beater but great to have in my bag and CERTAINLY useful to have when my other two 250 lumen micro steam lights are either on charge or being toyed with by my kids.I doubt this review will remain 1 star for long because streamlite is just that good and I know it so let's see if any of those other negative reviews have any merit to them because, I'm not sure.

The battery is no good/ Streamlight made it right!
Purchased March 22nd, and the battery already won't take a charge. The return deadline was April 22nd and it died May 17th. I have several different styles of Streamlight's flashlights that have worked flawlessly for years unfortunately, this one is a bust. Save your money.*** Update***Contacted Streamlight through Amazon's contact thread they were extremely helpful and sent out a replacement battery. The stand by their product 100% they apologized for the inconvenience.
