If your project needs power, this will deliver it!
This battery pack changed my outlook on battery banks. I originally bought this for a Raspberry Pi project but quickly realized that I've been paying high costs for battery banks just to get some slightly useful features. This has made it to where I can make a battery pack to my liking for size, capacity, and external ports. Not only does it come with a micro-usb and USB-C ports for input, but you have a USB-A for output and if you know how to solder, you have 4 connections for 3v and 4 connections for 5v that you can use to add more ports for output. It has a simple operation, fits a wide range of batteries, and is made of good quality materials for the board and the battery holder itself. I use it on my Pi project but also for charging random things and am planning to buy more to make my own battery pack for my ring doorbell, and want to look into the larger versions to start making my own battery banks.

Worked for a minute, but not when installed.
I'm mostly writing this review to document the date of which I put this into operation. When I received it, I tested it when I received it and it worked that one time fine, it powered my wireless iPhone charger. I did have it in my possession for about a week before I installed it into my 3d printed part at which time it did not work. All 3v and 5v connectors on the board shows 2.2 volts. Batteries are full, and tested four different charged batteries. The connectors to the USB-C connector shows 0 volts. I'm buying another one in case it was me that damaged it electronically, but if the new one doesn't actually work, I will be returning both.

Useful little gadget. Has USBC port.
I got this item to test capacity of recycled 18650 cells. Combined it with a USBC power meter and an old phone as load. Seems to work OK.Manufacture was less impressive - see photo of poor surface mounting.

Overall good but a few issues
New info: I like these well enough to order more, but now both unit three and it's replacement unit 4 have been damaged upon arrival,.. I'm returning again for replacement hoping third time is the charm... This last one both sides of the 5v USB output socket where completely crushed/scraped to death. No way this got past QCOn a brighter side Iv found quite a few uses for these regurdless of their shortcomings.Original review:As others have mentioned the 90ma requirement to stay in always on mode is not ideal.. but also note this can't be used as an uninterruptible 5v psu either as there is a full 4 to 5 second power output delivery gap from the point the charging circuit losses power to the point the 5v battery power cycles up on the 5v output. In addition it's not a very good charging other devices circuit either only able to charge dumb devices, any thing that requires a handshake won't charge off of it at a decent rate, (aka most modern cell phones)All that together limits what this circuit can do more than I expected when I purchased it, although still has potential...Oh, and I did blow one up,.. I'm not sure if I made a connection mistake while tinkering, or it fried on its own.. I double checked everything after it went out ... I'm about 75% i didn't make a mistake...If only it was uninterruptible.

Provides several days of power on the USB-A port, good for powering Arduinos.
Nice way to provide back-up power on a USB-A line. With both batteries installed, I could power an arduino UNO3 for about 2 days. There are some odd things; The batteries are charged via the usb-C or micro usb, and the battery power is available out the USB-A port. There are also several 5-volt and 3.3 volt solder holes available on the board, so if you want to solder on your own connectors, you can. Overall, its a nice way to keep your arduino running without a computer.

total POS...do not buy
Where to start? This junk has no reverse polarity protection. Battery drains in no time. LEDs add to drain rate. No instructions or even description of controls. At the price, not worth returning hassle...just eat it. One star rating is too high...zero stars more appropriate. I will just throw it out.
