Everyone needs these haven’t used them but I think I should keep them handy for my family

One bad filter in the batch
These are nice personal filters. I just bought four more. The last one of the last batch had an issue, though, it wouldn't pass air. If the chamber between the entrance and exit got any air in it whatsoever then it became vapor locked and impossible to use. It meant taking it apart and priming it before every use, sometimes twice as it wasn't a very easy maneuver. I don't know what happened with that one. Every other filter has behaved normally and last quite a long while. I have no idea why the osmotic membranes refused air passage, but that one also back flushed very easily, too. QC may be an issue if one in four is bad. We'll see.[Edit: The new ones seems very slightly redesigned, not exactly the same size and have a few minor improvements. So far, working as intended.]
