I already had a large cutting board made of glass that took up a large portion of my counter space.The problem was when I was done cutting up food, I hate to immerse the entire glass panel into the sink to wash off contaminants. This means if I moved from cutting up chicken to vegetables, I had to wash a huge cutting slate between each job.So, one day I am watching America's Test Kitchens and I see this product receiving huge accolades for its use and portability. I decided to go with the recommendation and purchased a set for myself.I can't begin to tell you how much better meal preparation has become since purchasing these cutting mats. With four of these coming in a set, I can now easily switch from cutting raw meat to chopping onions without having to do washes in-between. All the cleaning comes at the end when you simply rinse these in a soapy sink.I have also tested these in the dishwasher and they came out absolutely fine.There have been some complaints raised about the grip backing. I can attest to the fact that the grip is not as solid as I would have hoped it to be. There is a minimal amount of movement on the board during use, but it's not going to move wildly while cutting. I certainly don't think this is an issue that anyone should be concerned about.In all, this is a great set of cutting boards. I think Test Kitchens really got their review right and I am so happy that it enabled me to buy these. It has made food preparation so much easier.

This is my second set of these cutting mats and I really like them. The first set lasted over a year before the knife marks made them difficult to clean. These also lasted the longest compared to other cutting mats I've bought, before the knife marks began to show. The mats are great for cutting produce and meats that don't have a lot of juice. The thin material is sturdy yet compact for storing. They are a perfect size and flexibility to chop, fold, and dump contents into a pan or pot. The multiple colors are useful for designating food types to avoid cross contamination. I find them easy to quickly pull out of my cupboard compared to my heavier chopping block and the mats can go in the dishwasher for cleaning.

I love these. I previous bought another brand and they were like paper but these are super thick. They hold up well in the dishwasher. They still have a little flex which I like, they are completely rigid. I'm knocking off one star because the pictures don't show this well but the cutting are not completely smooth. There are ridges on both sides to increase rigidity. People might not like that because an uneven surface can be a breeding ground for bacteria if not washed well.

I like these boards for cutting veggies and meat. They are lightweight and bendable to then funnel the cut food into a container or the pan. Hand washing is the best to keep them flat, the dishwasher will make them curve.There is concern on micro plastic shavings ingesting but there is too much out in the world that I don't know about in processed food to be ingesting vs what I know I am cutting on the board. When the board looks too used from cutting I then throw it away.

There's a reason America's Test Kitchen rated these as the best plastic cutting boards (sheets?). They don't move around the counter and will stay put while cutting and trimming meat and veggies. Easy clean and take up little room. I have bamboo and wood cutting boards that I use but these are easy to grab and quick to clean after use and hot water hasn't bothered them at all.

I bought a set of these in 2013 and am now going to replace them. I don't know if four years is a long time as I've never owned flexible cutting mats before. The mats saw what I consider heavy usage; I cook six days out of seven and other family members are very comfortable in the kitchen.Pros: thin and easy to store, flexible but strong enough to carry food from one place to another; four in a set so I always have a cutting board available without having to stop and wash one, comes in different colors so easy for my family to remember that certain colors are for cutting certain foods only.Cons: The mats are layered/laminated and I learned this because the layers on one of them started peeling away after just a couple of months (we don't have a dishwasher). Despite the textured backing, they slip while I'm cutting fruits and veggies (no problem with cutting meat, don't know why). They stain after a while, one of them - the one we used for meat - so badly that I threw it away last year. Now after four years they're all either peeling or stained or both.

Really good design and quality . As you order a package of these cutting boards, pay attention to size. I ordered the small boards and they fit the work space - but most people will want larger boards. I would buy them again unhesitatingly.

These are exactly as pictured on Amazon's page. I use one to prep vegetables. Works great instead of my bamboo cutting board. Doesn't slide around and sharp chef knives don't leave marks. The coolest thing (to me) is cutting up a head of cauliflower, large onion or other veggies and picking the whole thing up, holding it over a pan on the stove, curling the sides up into a funnel and letting it all slide right in leaving very few pieces to be wiped clean. So far, nothing seems to leave stains.
