It's a little sticky, but works wonders! My hair is really flat at the top. I’ve tried many volumizing products over the years, but this one stands out. From the first application, I noticed a significant difference in my hair’s volume. I have thin, fine, naturally wavy hair and I must say that this product surprised me. It really does provide volume without weighing it down, as long as it don't overdo it, and it doesn't leave it wet looking as long as i scrunch out once dried. I try to concentrate at the roots and use a lighter foam mousse for the rest of my hair. Not only does it give me volume, but I have good volume for several days, needing only to dampen and crunch. I will be purchasing this again!

I like this product. I bought this product to replace a spray gel that I can no longer find in stock anywhere. This product is a very good product but it's hard for me to use according to the directions. It says to spray foam directly on wet hair at the root but it has a very strong narrow stream that is difficult for me to get where I need it. I have arthritis in my hands so I've lost some dexterity, thus I'm a bit of a dork when it comes to doing hair. This may just be a learning curve for me. I'm used to spraying a little in my hands and then applying to roots of hair. It will work this way too but it has a slightly different result so I'm trying to learn to do it as directed. Most foam products require shaking so I shook this instinctively. Don't make my mistake. Shaking actually causes it to separate and liquefy.The end result is that the product does what it says. It has a nice smell, adds volume, and helps with split ends. It does not weigh hair down or make it stiff or greasy. The only down side for me is the application technique but I doubt this will be a problem for most people. I think this would be easier for me to apply with a long narrow spout that can be poked under hair and a slightly weaker stream.I would buy this product again although it is a little more expensive than I would like to pay.

Works great and only need a little bit

Ok, first up, in my holiday shopping blitz, I failed to notice exactly HOW SMALL this product is. It’s basically a slightly larger travel size container. That’s pretty expensive price point for this size. If you use this daily or every other day, you will run out fairly quickly.Function: it’s ok. I definitely got lift initially but it didn’t hold as the day went on. In an hour, my hair was basically flat. I have thinning, layered hair so it’s not like I have an abundance of thick hair that’s weighing it down.I will be going back to Matrix once this is empty. It’s pricey but it works, lasts and performs much better.

Works very well on my fine but thick hair will order again

I love this fixative spray it’s a firm spray but actually holds my hair better. I recommend this spray for lift and hold on thinner soft hair.
