Neat Little SSD
I bought this to put in an IDE HDD enclosure to replace a failing IDE HDD in an old Archos media player. The intention was to clone the Archos HDD OS and plop it onto this one and put it in the Archos.I did manage to format the Dogfish drive so I believe it would have worked as I had intended but sadly the Archos HDD totally died while I was transferring some of the media files off of it before I got around to cloning it, so I couldn't make the copy of that drive.I'm still giving this 5 stars because it works and is recognized in my PC and able to be formatted easily. I'm sure I'll find another use for it.

Works in my AcePC mini computer
Bought an AcePC mini computer about a year ago, added a 2TB hard drive for programs and storage, but ran out of space on the original 32GB SSD boot/Windows drive. Windows 10 Professional unable to update, kept popping up official Microsoft nasty gram notices. I installed the Dogfish drive, migrated Windows and the Boot Loader to it, and the system is running faster than ever. Windows 10 just successfully upgraded. I now have over 220GB free on my boot/Windows disk.

So far so good
Revived an old laptop with IDE hard drive to this SSD. Cloning was smooth and start up is way faster now

Excellent for the price
So far so good. Its not quite as fast as my 850 Evo but it has been above and beyond what I expected of it after reading the reviews. But it has helped expand my laptops storage space and it just works. Had it for around 6 months now and hardly ever shut off my laptop no issues so far.

Worked in Latitude E6540
I saw a review saying it would work in a Dell Latitude E6540, and I prefer new products over used, so I gave it a shot. It worked instantly after formatting and it's surprisingly easy to make it a boot drive. Fully recommend for that purpose!

Used in iPod iFlash SSD upgrade
I didn't see this on the list of compatible SSDs to use with the iPod Classic iFlash SSD upgrade card. I didn't even know there was a compatibility list. Thankfully this SSD works just fine and I am able to copy files to it through the iPod classic. Awesome buy!

I have had good luck using a few of these Dogfish SSDs until the last one that I received...
I have bought three 256GB and one 1TB Msata SSDs in the recent past. They have worked as well as I had expected until the last 256GB Msata SSD that I bought. I acquired that one in March and it is now last May. What is the problem? I have two identical NUC type CPUs. They are about three years old and both have been working fine. I install that problem SSD in one of them, installed Fedora-36 Linux and ran the CPU in a network for awhile. I started seeing that the CPU would be found to be frozen after a few days of continuous running. When I monitored the system more closely, I found that the system might freeze in just a few hours or within no more than a day. I thought old CPU, defective CPU. I than installed the SSD in the identical second CPU and ran it for awhile. It would freeze in the same fashion as the first CPU. Was the second CPU defective as well? I did not think so. Replaced this 256GB Msata SSD with a 1TB Msata SDD in this second CPU, also made by Dogfish, installed Fedora-36 Linux and the problem has not reoccurred so far in three days. My suspicion is that the 256GB Msata SSD is faulty. It is probably too late to return and replace this SSD and I have long since thrown out the packaging in which it came. A lesson learned here is to always test new media hardware when you receive it. Try to run some read and write tests on the drive and you may be able to filter out and return drives that may cause you problems.
