Great to have on hand

These filters work great for my Brita 27 cup water dispenser. You need to read the instructions first as you need to submerge the filter in clean sink water for 15 minutes before usage. We use the filter and dispenser in our motorhome to use hose water and convert it to drinking water. It works perfectly and the water is clean when coming out. The water filter is a little slow in filtering but that is ok and it is why I have a large dispenser.

I grew up on well water, so I'm not entirely averse to the taste. However, when I moved into my own place I found that my well offers a metallic taste in addition to the classic eggy/sulfur taste. It's a particularly unpleasant combination for drinking water.So I got a large brita pitcher along with a 3 pack of the filters. Great results.When it was time to get more filters, I decided to try these since they were cheaper than the name brand and had great reviews.They work okay. Based on taste alone, I can tell that they don't filter as much out as the name brand ones do. The water is still perfectly drinkable, it's just not quite as crisp/clean tasting.I'll still order these again, though, simply because of the significant savings. If you want pristine flavor, order brita filters. If you just want palatable, order these and save a chunk of cash.I get 1-2 months of use per filter (depending on my water consumption, and I assume well water conditions probably fluctuate a bit depending on environmental factors) before the taste declines and the filter flow slows to a drip.

I use the filtered water picture daily for everything. Water stays clean & change regularly
