Great resource book. Starts with thorough basic sewing/embroidery kit needs and tips. I like that instead of a diagram of a stitch, you actually get step by step pictures of the stitches and then ways you can amp the stitch up.

Comprehensive guide to embroidery technique and stitches with great illustrative photos. I think this book is useful for beginners and experienced stitchers. I’m glad I got this book. I find it inspiring. I can’t wait to try out some new stitches.

I like this book a lot. The illustrations are clear as are the instructions. As someone who has made many garments completely by hand (no machine) , I was hoping for a greater take on functional hand sewing technique. That’s a fairly small part of this book with the bulk of it focused on decorative embroidery.That doesn’t impact the value of this book if that is what you are looking for. It’s a great reference. I was looking for something different but I’ll keep this book on my craft shelf.

Got this for my sister and she told me that she enjoys it very much.

I didn't really need another embroidery book but I really, really love this one.
