I just got finished putting it together and we had two people as it recommends. We started at 9 and finished at 3, minus a half an hour break. The main issue was not enough room to actually use the tools! I must have dropped screws at least 50 or 60 times because there was simply no room to maneuver. Then there's the blind screws, "put these two pieces together but you won't actually be able to see where the holes line up (This is particularly in reference to piece R). The plastic gadgets that hold the drawers together are annoying. A zip tie would have worked just as well and not driven me crazy. And as we're talking about the drawers: while they seem sturdy, they're going to be a nuisance because they don't really attach to the bed in any way. There's no track or run to keep them where they're supposed to be, which makes the bed look "broken down" even though it's brand new. That said, I didn't purchase it for myself and my son won't care. The other thing (and I should have realized this, my son has an extra thick mattress and the top of it is even with the top of the gray upholstery. I definitely would not purchase it again, because it was just such a chore.
