Great product if you need to free up counter space. Looks good, adhesive is good and saves a ton of space. Would recommend!

It is metal and has a nice plain black matt finish. It feels strong enough and the arm does not feel it will bend.What is not mentioned in the description or shown in the pictures in the listing is that you have to attach the base of the holder to the arm using 3 small screws included. There is an instruction guide and it's not hard to do and there is an Allen Key (one of the pieces of metal bent at 45 degrees that you often get with flat pack furniture ) in case you don't have a screwdriver. It attaches easily and firmly and is easy to do but I think this should be mentioned in the listing. The screws for this are included although they are not shown in the listing which has a picture of the parts for fitting the holder.To attach to a wall or cupboard you can use a sticky pad included which has no brand name on the adhesive sides. I suggest using methylated spirits to clean the surfaces of the metal base and the wall or cupboard if using this method.If using the self adhesive pad to attach the 2 screw holes for the using screws instead will be shown.There are screws etc included to attach the holder by using screws but I found if I was to attach it to underneath a cabinet the screws were just a little bit too long for me so it's worth checking before you start attaching this by screws.The arm of the holder is long enough to hold the taller paper towels and its worth considering the length of this before purchasing as if you tend not to use the longer paper towels you will see more of the holder arm.Overall well worth getting and the price is about the same as others, but I feel its more suited for those that use the taller paper towels and I had not thought about that before getting this.

Decent alternative to worktop towel holders

I got this paper towel roll holder for the garage as I am always losing them in the mess. I love the fact you can either screw or stick, however for my application, I chose to screw this into the side of my cabinet to ensure the holder does not fail over time.The metal is a nice matt finish which definitely looks the part. To be honest, this was a little fancy looking for my garage. It is sturdy enough to hold a big blue roll. Its definitely a must for garage users as I haven’t managed to lose my roll since.
