Curver Faux Rattan Laundry & Washing Basket, 45L

This laundry basket is excellent. At north of £17 I considered it to be quite a lot for something just to put wet clothes etc in, but it really is a cut above the mustard.The basket looks great, although plastic, the weaved effect makes it look very classy. This is important as the basket is quite large so is often on display, so to have one looking so appealing is great. The curved edges not only increase the look, but make it easier to carry and store laundry in too. As they have put three handles in it is also extremely easy to carry, either with two hands, or with one if you press the basket against yourself. This seems like a small detail but it is actually very useful, as it gives you another free arm to collect things or open doors etc without having to put it down again.If you can justify spending a bit on a laundry basket then I would highly recommend this one, it's built to last, looks great, and functions very well indeed.

I buy these, and only these, as they stack tidily inside each other, are light yet strong, easy to carry,they last forever as far as I can see.Their shape is perfect for folding sheets, pillowcases, towels as the rectangular size neatly accommodates folded linen, leaving few creases so ironing becomes easier or unnecessary. Best of all it fits perfectly below the porthole door of my Mie*e washing machine so it's a doddle to empty straight into the basket ditto my Hoov*r tumbledrier.Simple to wipe down, airy with the mock rattan moulding, so laundry doesn't go mouldy, they are my favourite. Also useful for storage, stacking, moving, Curver are a name I trust, and am please to recommend.

It is quite good but the handles are quite sharp when carrying it loaded with damp clothes.

Little pricey but good and will last a while

I bought this basket because I wanted something strong and roomy to hold the ironing. This fits the bill perfectly.
