IT WORKS!!!!
I was skeptical about this splitter, but am very pleased with it. I needed a USB-C splitter for charging and providing audio in from a Rode Wireless Go II from the sound board while live streaming church services on my phone. The Rode uses a propriatary USB-C from the Rode receiver to the phone USB-C input and was unsure if it would work. I noticed that many spitters only handle charging and audio out (no data transfer). This item exceeded my expectations. Like the description says it has 1 USB-C male for connection to phone, 1 USB-A for data transfer, 1 USB-C for Data transfer and 1 USB-C for charging. I plugged the power bank and output from the Rode receiver to the splitter connected it to the phone and had no issues. The splitter is light weight so it does not pull on the connection to the phone. Have only used it a couple times so far, hope it holds up.

Works perfectly for iPad with usb-c
Needed this to be able to connect wired headphones using the apple usb-c to 3.5mm headphone adapter, and also connect a USB thumb drive which I had filled up with some videos, so I could watch the videos on the iPad and also listen at the same time. Charging also works, but I didn't test the speed yet. No warnings about low power or anything though. Sound output is loud and clear. Glad this solution exists to fix a stupid decision by apple to ditch the 3.5mm headphone port!

Didnt work
My purpose:Connect a wired usb c mouse and a regular usb c cable to usb port (the fat rectangular one) in computer to be able to backup phone and use mouse on phone screen. It didnt work. None of the ports, when conneting cable from laptop to port, would indicate the phone was available to click on on my laptop. When wired straight from laptop to phone via one cable (not the dongle that I purchased), then the phone would show on my laptop. Dongle didnt work for me.

Exactly what I was looking for.
So with my new insurance they put an app on my phone that doesn't allow me to take phone calls use my GPS or anything else without dinging me. So I decided to mount my tablet in my Jeep, I've got it set up so that the GPS is pulled up the music is pulled up and in a small corner it even pops up my text messages if I'm at a stoplight I can choose to look at them. I ordered these cables because not only do they allow you to run your audio into your tablet but they also allow you to run the power cable into your tablet and I have an additional video camera mounted on the back of my Jeep and I just plugged that into one of the USB C ports and opened it up on my tablet and now I have a 13 inch rear backup screen as well. For such a small device it has made my life so much more simple. I don't have to get my phone now so the performance of my driving stays on point. There's no connectivity issues because it's not wireless it's straight Plug and Play, they look great because they're small sleek and don't take up a lot of room. It's definitely good quality for the amount of money I spent. That's a great value

Great for dual iPad use
We use this to set up one iPad in our car for travel that both of our kids can watch. The extra outlets allows to hook up additional headphones while we also charge the iPad, so it never runs out of battery on the trip. Works great!
