Great 4k camera
I had an ADT outdoors camera that was hooked by a 12V, 1 amp adapter. After canceling ADT, I needed a new camera that could handle the same voltage an Amp. I saw this one with 4K Icamera and decided to get it. I did initially hook it up to my internet with a wired ethernet to set it up. Once connected, I removed the ethernet and use wifi. The signal is much stronger if you put the antennae on and use a 2.4G wifi which penetrates wall better - is what I was told. The quality of the pictures is amazing which makes the live feed quite nice for monitoring. The app for the iphone and computer has many options for set up which is nice. Overall, loves this security camera.

Nice Camera
I bought this bullet cam to have a good view of my bird feeder, as well as a portion of my back yard. I wanted a plug in model because I wanted continuous camera feed and it was convenient to my desired location (near an outlet). It has great color during the day, and really good color or B&W at night, depending on if I want the IR or spotlight on. My router is near the front of my 3000Sq ft house and this camera has no problem with WiFi connection from the back yard. I have multiple Reolink cameras so I use both the NVR (for my POE cameras) and the PC and Android App for access to all of them. Attached snapshot if from the PC client app. I must like them, because I keep expanding my camera count and property coverage.

Nice features
Good quality. Accurate object recognition. At first it wouldn’t power up, almost returned it, but tried the reset button as last resort and it powered up. Now works fine.

Amazing cameras!!!
The media could not be loaded. These cameras are amazing! I'm replacing my 10+ year old 1080p cameras because of problem neighbors and what an upgrade these are!!! You get instant notifications of people, animals, and vehicles, and you can immediately watch back those individual clips on your phone. There are lots of options to choose from on the app to tailor the cameras to your personal needs. Very clear video feed and did I mention they also record sound?? I'm definitely getting more of these!!!

Support sucks
this is a wifi stand alone camera. Hardware appears good quality. Connects to a wired network ok. Will not connect to wifi. Appears to require you to connect to a router that is connected to the internet before you can connect wifi - Reolink support says not so. I called support several times. I went through the brain dead AI stuff, and to human support who had no idea about the interface but could read perfect english from a script. I asked for a network engineer to call me - nothing. They said it was my camera and sent me another and same thing. I doubt it is the camera but the wifi communication parameters. It apparently does not broadcast a ssid so you have no idea if it is the camera hardware or being blocked. Neither my pc w/wifi will connect or display the camera wifi nor my iPhone - and both are using the Reolink apps. If you are looking for a standalone wifi camera, I suggest you look elsewhere until Reolink gets rid of their brain dead support. Oh yea, try and find someone in the US who is in charge of Reolink and who is responsible. Caveat Emptor.

Easy setup and no cloud storage needed (Use SD card).
Easy setup without running wires and has power extension to give more flexibility for plugging in the adapter. This was just one camera at this location but I have several on my house and love the local storage, no cloud needed design.

Love Reolink cams, but...
These are a great buy. I have two that work as described. I love that I am not required to create an account with Reolink. I installed a SD card and connect it to your network and all is good. Found the device in their App and it worked great, Video looks great. However, the motion detection-notification doesn't always work. Sometimes it works too good.Notification sometimes gets disabled and I cannot turn it back on. I have two Reolink cameras.***Update: Almost a year later and I cannot re-enable Push Notifications. This was the biggest reason for the purchase. The App keeps saying "Operation Failed" when trying to enable Push Notifications.***Update to Update 11/30/2024. To get Push Notifications, you MUST add a Short Cut. On the App Main Page, pull down to see/create a shortcut. Tech support did not solve this. I was tinkering and remembered shortcuts during one of the updates to the App. I set one and started getting notifications. So, User error?
