Fast and simple
It works exactly like I expected. The switch from one audio source to the other is seamless and super fast. The setup was also straightforward. I did not have any problems with connectivity, and both my wired USB headset and my JBL wireless headset (with a USB dongle) work perfectly.Initially I did not know why there was no audio from my phone handset, but you have to press the phone button again to "hang up", then it switches back to the PC audio and you can use the phone handset as usual. If you don't do it, and switch back by pressing the PC button, then it puts the phone audio on "hold", so that you can quickly switch back, but you can't use the phone handset at the same time. This confused me at first, but now that I figured it out, it works perfectly for what I wanted.

Product doesn't work
The product either doesn't not work as is advertised or is defective. The employee who I purchased this for spent hours trying to get it figured out, which went wasted. She had received a previous one of these Platntronics devices which worked for a while and then stopped working, so from experience it's a horribly faulty product. My window to return the product is now 2 days past and I can't return this. So frustrating all around, especially when trying to help someone with hearing impairment issues. Plantronics needs to do better and I hope the Seller reads this review and offers to take the defective product back despite being out of the return window.

Successfully Paired the MDA220 with Plantronics 38350-13 APC-43 Electronic Hook Switch Adapter
Paired the MDA220 with Plantronics 38350-13 APC-43 Electronic Hook Switch Adapter cable to allow Plantronics Voyager Focus UC (USB) headset to connect to 8800 series Cisco phone (8841/8851/8861). Work phone is networked to company computer software. I needed to connect through the phone and not the computer. Works pretty well. Occasional reboot is required as sync is lost. Deactivated the headset auto detect feature that turns mute on and off. (Would turn it on and I could never manually get it to turn off. I think this is a headset issue, not a headset switch issue.) Overall, very happy to be able to use my Voyager Focus in this setup.

An Excellent Solution For Deskphones without Bluetooth
This device worked perfectly for what I wanted. I had my own Plantronics Focus UC headset that I wanted to use at my desk for phone calls and PC audio. The deskphone I was issued was a newer Cisco IP phone but a base model without bluetooth. After using the issued headset for a while and being underwhelmed by its quality I started searching for a solution. Plantronics support actually pointed out this device, which I found on Amazon for a much better price. I did need to use the lifter cable from my company issued headset to have a more seamless setup as the cable provided required to leave the handset off the hook. I can now answer calls normally and flip back over to whatever media I may have playing on my PC. The USB dongle for my headset paired immediately when plugged into the MDA220. I recommend 100%

Customer support is worthless
I submitted a question online. Went to hp customer service. The question was closed a week later. No contact. I own hp printers and pc. Never again. Worked thru problems and the box is working fine. Figured if I broke it, would just return it.

Excellent product!
I have a pair of high-quality Plantronics Blackwire C725 noise-canceling headphones/mic that I absolutely adore for comfort, quality and sound. For my new remote job (telecommuting), my company sent me a Cisco IP phone with a much lower quality Plantronics headset - HW510 - which only has one earpiece, is nowhere near as comfortable, and totally no comparison in sound quality. But what it did have was a quick connect clip, unlike the USB with which the Blackwire connects. I called the wonderful folks at Plantronics about my plight, and they recommended this little device to workaround the issue and connect up my Blackwire headset to my Cisco phone. I admit it took a couple of calls to Plantronics to figure out how to get it connected properly (and they were very patient with me!), but the results are exactly what I was hoping for! Thanks, Plantronics!

Buzzing sound - issues with analogue desk phone?
It sorta works, but works poorly for me. I bought it for my rather old NEC analogue desk phone (ip4ww-24txh-a-tel). I tried the usual volume control methods by switching the signals and volumes on the device/phone/pc... but it doesn't seem to like any of the headsets - logitech H800, plantronics blackwire 720W or plantronics legend UC (my office mates were all kind enough to loan their various headsets for a few days).Constant buzzing noise or echos or complaints from recipient that sound quality was poor. A bit of a let down since the office phone is the one thing I can't change! The idea was to find a way of being wireless on the deskphone.Maybe it works better with VOIP phones, since no issues on the PC side.Might have to try Jabra's pro 9470 instead.
