Very close to the best
These are close to the Tombrow color pencils which I considered right now the best for around similar price points bands (I haven't used really expensive ones yet). The colors being a little more muted and the lead a little more brittle would be the only difference. These are minor critiques and otherwise they are a great pencil and vastly better than your standard buy in the grocery story ones.

Best Color Pencils
I have had these same brand of pencils sense I was alittle girl. They are very smooth and the colors are vibrant. They are even easier to shade with than most brands on the market. My favorite thing about them is that the lead does not brake as easily as most do.

My artist daughters love these!
Bought 2 of these for my girls for Christmas. They LOVE them and were very excited to draw with them! Love how the tin keeps them all together. Great colors too!

I love the pencils
I love the pencils...they seem like a bit softer lead than Crayola which is all I have ever used before but the color and feel of them when I color is nice.

Good for entry level and learning to shade and blend.
The colors blend extremely well; however, they are not nearly as bright as one would expect by a long shot. Its great for a beginner who is learning to shade but not for any artwork one would want to add to their decor or a portfolio. I have had better color and shading effects with Crayola
