A good place to get started with AI enabled apps.
Things move so quickly with OpenAI and other similar companies that when I got this the format for chats had already changed, but if you just look up the differences a lot of the fundamentals are really good in this book. Also covers a lot of other things you should think about when building apps using LLMs/chatbots. It's a very slim volume, but has lots of good information.

Useful book but ludicrously overpriced
This is a good book as far as it goes and the authors deserve credit for distilling a complicated topic into an easy to read format. When reading it, it helps to understand python. That said, the book is very slight and the price is very high. Ordinarily O'Reilly books are good value for money. The best example of that are Learning Python and Programming Python by Mark Lutz which are both about a tree worth of paper for only £50. This book is not value for money. It should retail for circa £25 max. For that reason I can only award it two stars. If it retailed for a sensible price, it would deserve 4 stars.
