There was not a lot of character development and the storylines were very predictable, but it’s good sometimes to read a story with a happy ending that you don’t have to think too much about

Danielle Steele has never written a bad book. Every story brings you into an intimate relationship with the characters. This book did not disappoint. I loved all the brothers and sister and all the different lives they led.

Interesting how family make things work when losing parents.

Steele can write a sentence that moves the story forward like no other. Readers can count on beautiful settings, lovely characters, that finances will be crucial to the plot, and the ending will be happy. A formula she has perfected. When the characters make love there are no descriptive phrases. This book is no exception. You know it is a book you can give your old granny or your preacher and neither one will be shocked or offended. Predictable. A safe read between books that deal with tough, heavy issues. Three stars for me because the editing has improved and I liked the family in the story.

I didn’t read this, but purchased for my mother in law who’s a big fan of DS. Every Christmas I purchase some of the latest hardcovers. This was one of her favorites.

It fell apart. at the first reading. I reread it but it was very difficult.

Another excellent book. I can't wait to read the next book. I felt as though I was living in the house with them.

Been reading Danielle Steel since I was young. Love that most of her novels, whilst fiction , containsome true historical information.
