Very useful little driver board
I am using these for WLED like many others, having little experience with programming myself. If you are using these or any other arduino board for WLED just make sure you have the correct driver installed as the installer won't recognise your board until you do. You will want to download Arduino IDE and then for this board you need the drivers for ESP32 boards with the CP2102 chipset, as described in the title. It's an extremely common chip and you only have to do this once, after that they are just plug and play. Thank you diymore

Led strip light controller
Used these to install wled on them to control led light strips. Work great. Fast delivery.

useless for breadboard or breakout boards
Hoping to use for testing, but it will not fit in a breadboard or break out board as pin set is to wide, I will have to remove the pins to solder direct to the board when the time comes.The hardware is good and works well, it has it limits.This goes for USB C and non USB Micro, get if you want to remove all the pins to make it use full.

A note about breakout boards
I bought these to use with WLED and WS2812B addressable leds and they work just as expected once WLED has been flashed to the board.A word of warning, though. If you wish to use these boards with breakout boards with screw terminals, be aware that the gap between the two sets of pins is 2.5 cm, which means you need 'wide' breakout boards to use with this brand of ESP32s. Amazon just delivered several DUBEUYEW 38PIN Wide Version breakout boards and the diymore ESP32 boards do fit correctly, though I have yet to find out if the breakout boards actually work. As I (and others) have found other brands of breakout boards have a gap between pin sockets of 2.3cm, which the diymore boards will not fit.

First Foray into ESP32 using ESPHome in HomeAssistant
Instructions were non existent but with a bit of googling found out how to initially add ESPHome firmware and works brilliantly with ESPHome to drive a steeper motor via an A4988 board and some switched to automate a chicken coup door

Does exactly what I needed
Great bit of kit, LEDs completely under control, easy to setup and use even for a beginner like me.Have created some brilliant effects, far better than Hue.Buy it!
