Can't sleep without them!

Altho these were marketed for wearing under a mask...They are the same as the ones marketed as a sleep aid. But the mask branded ones were a tad cheaper at the time I looked on Amazon. Either kind works the same. Are these right for you? It depends. A good test would be to try putting a Q-tip up your nose and gently pushing your nostril outwards towards your ear. If you feel the airflow is much better while pushing out your nostril, then it's likely these inserts will provide around the same benefit. If the Qtip trick doesn't work, then it's a good indication that the point of restricted air flow is too high up for inserts to work.I've used these for years due to sinus issues/deviated septum. Can't sleep without them! And when I get sinus pressure headaches, these and a heated eye mask work wonders! These inserts are a much more effective way to fully open up your nasal passage...and a much easier longterm solution than ripping adhesive strips from your nose 365 days a year.Unknown why they say they are only good for a month or two... They last way longer. So yes, they do seem overpriced, but they last quite a long time. When they do die, they just start to lose their grip/tension and either no longer provide the tension to hold the nasal passage open as well as before or they slip out at night. So that's when you know it's it's time to replace them... Lol.If you are a newbie trying them, you might need time to adjust since it's weird having something up your nose at first. But you will eventually get used to them and not even notice them anymore.Plus, some newbies noses may be a bit sore in the middle of night or in morning (like that feeling when you slept on your ear wrong). You may simply need time to adjust to them.... Or perhaps they weren't inserted correctly to begin with. But, if you feel they are just too tight hugging your nose (or if the wings feel way too big), you can gently stretch/squeeze/manipulate them until they feel more comfy. You can also wear them inserted as a W shape or upside down as an M shape depending on what works best for your nose. The plastic is not soft and squishy like silicone. It's a flexible yet firm rubbery/smooth plastic.Highly recommend!

These work well for me...

I've read all the negative comments here folks. Yes, these can irritate the inside of your nose just like your FINGER would if it was stuck up there 8 hours a day!Keep them clean, and just skip a night here and there, and you will get used to them.I can wear them now like 4-5 days in a row before a feel a little bit of irritation. Also, i think I wear them "upside down" as it seems to do a better job in my nose. Try them inverted and see how it works for you.I have tried just about ALL of these, and these work best for me. Everyone is a little different.

Life saver!!

I have a deviated septum and very swollen nasal passages so this has been a life saver! It took me a bit to get used to sleeping with something in my nose but now I can’t live without them. As soon as I slip the device in I can instantly breathe 100% better. All my stuffy people- it’s like when you’re extra congested during a cold and then you break down and spray afrin and you’re like “wow this is what it’s like to breathe!” Well, imagine that feeling every night! Try this product. You won’t regret it!

Too rough

Too rough and stiff for my boyfriends nose.

Deep nasal congestion…

So, imagine sitting in a hot, dark and very stuffy room. You can hardly breath; desperate for light and clear fresh air, you go to open up a window! First you pull back the curtains for light to fill the room, but the air is still suffocating! so behind the curtains you go to pull the window open…but the window won’t open! These nasal dilators are the curtains.TLDRMy point is that my swollen nasal congestion is located farther back than this dilator can reach therefore, this item does not work for me at all.

These were a surprise.

I was surprised by how well these worked. There is a trick however that I got from one of the ratings on this item. Coat them with a thin layer of Vaseline or (the original suggestion) triple antibiotic. Doing this makes them easier to insert and more comfortable during the night. I often forget I have them in.

Life changing.

I have a slightly deviated septum even after surgery, and though I've gotten allergy shots, I still get congested during the night, even after using azelastine and fluticasone.Breathe Right strips are so expensive and I didn't know this existed. Hello!I've just used them one night and I slept well for the first time since I was a kid.For those finding the inside of their nose getting irritated or raw, just put a bit of vaseline on those bits before inserted, or put it on the dilator itself.I use it in the M position. My breathing is completely silent! No more open mouth breathing! I won't be picking at my lips every day from now on! Woohoo!

Mixed feelings

This does open up my nostrils and help with oxygen flow. However, compared to another brand I’ve used, this one is much harder to put in and feels a little more stiff which has lead to my nose being sore. That said, it’s less than half the price of the other one and is intended for more wears. So it’s a good choice in a budget just takes so extra patience and careful placement
