Good color and quality paper
Great for use with oil pastels, charcoals, graphites, colored pencils. Love the blue tone of the paper; works particularly well for landscapes, oceanscapes, skyscapes, etc. But really, works well for any drawing. I've seen portraits done on this paper with amazing results.

Smooth surface--great for pencil and chalk!
This paper takes layering and fine detailing without any problem. I've used it for color portraits as well as black and white. I've found the 'blue gray' tone very pleasing and suitable no matter what my subject's skin tone might be.

Just perfect for drawing classes I use charcoal on this type of paper and it works great!

Another option for your artwork
Strathmore paper is an excellent brand. The toned paper provides an even background color for your artwork. My only disappointment is that the blue is more gray than I expected.

Great paper to draw on
Has wonderful texture for graphite, charcoal and surprisingly pastel pencils. I love that the background is already "colored in" for me. You can create excellent contrast. This is actually the 3rd one that I've purchased as I also have the toned and gray versions as well. Outstanding value for the money!

Love the blue toned paper
Very happy with the blue toned paper. Love how the lighter colored, color pencils show up on the paper. I would buy it again.
