Amazon Basics by SKIL 4V Cordless Stick Screwdriver with 10-Piece Bit Set and USB Cable(Previously Denali brand)

I love this screwdriver! It's quick, it's small, it's super powerful! Tested again a Ryobi of similar size. The Ryobi put a 3 inch wood screw into a piece of wood about 1/3 of the way. This driver not only put its own 3 inch screw in with no effort but also finishing driving the other! Very impressive torque in a small, inexpensive package. I do wish it was less round because it likes to roll away from you if you aren't careful :)

I got this based on positive YouTube reviews. Today I had to use it for the first time. I had to replace some old wooden slats in my wooden fence. I used several 2in wood screws. This driver had no problem with it. I had no problem starting the screw and driving it in. It takes a bit of torque, but this handled it easily. In general, you cannot beat the ruggedness of this product for the price.

You know when you buy something and you hope it works not where you’re confident it’s gonna work and not where you expected to exceeded your expectations but you just hope it works… I needed a new power screwdriver because I do a lot of projects around the house and this was not only the cheapest one it was also Amazon basics and so far whenever I buy an Amazon basic products 99.9% of the time I’m satisfied. But this is a power screwdriver and I can’t play games. I’m a DJ and so when I try to repair my DJ equipment, I need something with a little bit of torque and a little bit of power. It’s very easy to use. The grip is very good. The size is perfect. And the torque? I can’t believe it. I’m really shocked. This thing kicks but. If I had to say anything bad about it, I would only say this, and a lot of people may not know this because they may not read the directions, but I did apparently you can’t leave it charged in all the time and otherwise when you leave it, you can’t just put it on the charger if you do that it could stop working…That was definitely a mistake even if for a few more dollars I would’ve paid for a feature where you could just put it back in the charger and it can’t overcharge because every time I go to use it I don’t wanna have to worry that it’s going to be dead. And I have to recharge it if I have a project that I have to do at that moment. I still give it five stars though. I’m not a construction worker because if I was that would definitely be a dealbreaker for me. I’m just a person that does projects whenever I need to so for me it’s worth five stars and if you’re someone like me, that’s doing basic projects every now and again it’s definitely worth the money.

Solid tool, used it to build a couple pieces of furniture and it definitely saved me some time. the only issue I had was that the design (square shaped and quite bulky) didnt fit in certain areas/ at certain angles. Battery charge was quick and it lasted throughout several tasks

I’m not a DIY person but this screwdriver made me one!! I have given this as a gift many times!!! My friends love it also!!

So I went out of town for an install last week, and this thing arrived the day before I left. I was so surprised by how strong this thing is. I wasn't expecting too much for the price but it ended up torquing really well. The only thing I would change about it is the delay when you release the button after it hits max torque. But I'm sure that's in there for a reason, and I'm sure the motor/mechanism that rotates is very small and heats up fast so I'm actually surprised this thing has any type of safety mechanic at all. It really does feel like it is made by Skil and it shows in the quality within 10 seconds of unboxing and holding this thing. It feels tough. I'm not gonna test how much abuse it can take because I love this thing and I really want it to last, but it feels like good tools that hold up. I've used Milwaukee, DeWalt, Flex, Bosch, Makita, and Skil and it just feels like something that would come from one of the Titans of power tools. Honestly, I would buy this thing happily for $40 but Amazon Denali really blessed all the technicians, contractors, engineers, whatever out there by pricing this thing shockingly low compared to its quality. It did everything I needed it to do flawlessly, took zero damage despite about 2 hours of really pressing with it and playing around with it on site, and it feels comfortable to use and hold when you're reaching up on a ladder or scissor lift. 20/10, buy this thing before they see this review and bump the price!
