Great film, love the wider border for my shots

I'm shooting this with an instax wide 300 and the wide link printer.As camera film you just can't beat it. Quality is decent, convenience is incredible and value is off the charts (compare polaroid film prices for example!)As printer film it costs about 3x as much as a slow 6x4 print from my Canon Selphy, but the convenience and speed are well worth the price, IMO!

As a recent owner of an instax wide camera, the black and white film is truly my favourite.It produces really good quality photos and the black and white just look so classy and timeless. Created a lot of Christmas memories and everyone was asking to keep the shots (which i happily obliged). I've also got a load on display now.Just make sure you have plenty of natural light.Yes. They're expensive but all instax film is.

This Instax Wide film works with the Fuji Instax Wide camera and the new stand-alone printer (a brilliant device - well worth looking into). It is essentially the original Polaroid instant film, and to my eyes at least, Fuji have improved the picture quality. Images are vibrant, sharp and detailed. The finished pictures have a semi-gloss surface. There is a broad area at the bottom of the picture surround which accommodated the pods containing the developing chemicals. This is all well and good, but I can't help wondering why Fuji chose to base new hardware on such an antique technology. OK, it works; and if it isn't broke, why fix it? But I always considered the rival product that Kodak developed, and for which they were successfully sued by Polaroid for patent breaches, was a superior product. A giant like Fuji could surely have advanced the concept.The original film features a white surround and Fuji have recently marketed an alternative with a black surround. This does make the picture stand out and I find it preferable. The problem is that at present (summer 2022) it is hardly ever available. Apparently Fuji's new Instax Wide printer is phenomenally successful, so maybe it is just that Fuji can't meet demand for the newer film. Time will tell.

Bought loads over the years for my Polaroid camera! Does the job and love the photos . Obviously wish it was all cheaper but that’s the cost of Polaroid cameras
