The backdrop stand is made out of steel, and the legs have tripods at the base, making it quite stable and able to hold the weight of any material you could possibly make a backdrop out of or buy. The carrying case for it keeps the legs and crossbar in separate pouches making it very easy to both put away and take out to set up. It is very easy to adjust the height of it and move around. All in all I think it is a great product for any photographer that shoots in front of backdrops, or someone that might want to use it for holiday events at a business.

The stainless steel does look and feel nicer than the black aluminum ones that's in basic kits.It doesn't actually go 10 feet high (that's the width length)Max height is 8.5 feet.

I already own a couple of other backdrop stands, but this one is way better. They are all fairly easy to assemble, but this one seems much sturdier than the other ones that I own, and that makes it easier to assemble. I do a lot of videography and photography, and this backdrop stand is reasonably lightweight, sturdy, and it comes in a wonderful carrying bag. It's really weird, but my other backdrop stands have carrying bags that allow the poles to fall out easily. This carrying bag is very well designed, so that everything stays in place. You cannot help but be impressed with how high this thing will extend. Anyone that does a lot of photography or videography, understands that height matters. This one gets way up there, and also remains very sturdy, even when fully extended. So, it is wide, tall, and sturdy enough to support a heavy roll of paper or pretty much any backdrop you want. I just could not be any happier with it. Highly recommended. Definitely five stars for me all the way.

One of my stand extends longer than the other and I’m just now noticingMy first shoot I need a longer extension& I goto setup and one side will not go past a certain length that the other will

The media could not be loaded.  dos de los cabezales venian flojos y una pieza suelta, necesite usar una llave Allen que no esta incluida para ajustarlos y re-ensamblarlos. los terminados del soporte transversal son pesimos, esta raspado.y aun no lo armo ni lo uso. pero bueno, es mucho mas barato que otros y supuestamente de mayor tamaño.
