Noisy but cute blue car!
My toddler loves blue. Especially blue cars. We got him this not realizing it made noise... it’s fun for him because a silly song plays with the horn beeping and the headlights flashing. After a good long while of listening to this thing though I want to throw it out the window. However my son recently wanted to take it with him to the beach. I guess it got sand in all the wrong places because it no longer makes noise which is great for us! He still likes it but not as much as before... he loves anything loud lol!Overall it’s very cute and well made. It’s not a toy to bring on an airplane or long car trip (unless you can stop at a beach and let it get sandy).

Just to clear up a few things...
So I'm not really sure where the comments are coming from about this car having "electronic lights and sounds" - it does not. I didn't care about this as I was just looking for a white Beetle model for my collection. Curiously, it has a battery compartment, which says "AG3x3".. I opened the compartment, but it was sized for six AG3 batteries which I installed. Even more curious, there were no metal contacts inside the compartment. Obviously the car did not make lights or sound (the description actually says it doesn't, to be fair). One last oddity, it clearly has a speaker grill on the bottom of the car, but it must be empty. The one function that it has is if you pull the car back on the floor, it will zoom off on spring power. This model is built for display and as such, a child would break or destroy it almost right away. Mine was packed in a thin plastic bag and then put in a cardboard box where it rattled around for thousands of miles, so one of the exhaust pipes had been broken off in shipment. I didn't bother with complaining or returning the item.Overall i'm relatively satisfied with it and it goes well with my other display VW's...

Fun Gag Gift
I and my brother are huge VW Bug fans, we've owned a few in our teen years and now we are at a stage in life where we want to have some nostalgia and have been drooling over a few that we see out there. If you are a fan you know that they are pricey. The last one my brother drooled over was $25k, not in the budget yet, so I bought this for his birthday. Yep it did exactly what I was hoping, gave him a laugh, and curbed the desire for a year on the real deal, a slammed, Cal'd VW Bug. Now the race is on to see who buys one first, probably him, his wife has approved the idea and mine hasn't. Oh well, I guess I continue to dream and modify my type NA Miata.

Rip-off. No electronics inside despite claims of "sound and lights".
Although advertised as having "sound and lights" and molded into the bottom of the unit is a place for a speaker and a place for batteries, when you open up the unit you discover there is NO electronics whatsoever inside. The battery compartment can actually fit AG3 batteries (none came with the unit), but there is no contact points for the batteries and no wiring at all. Where the speaker is supposed to be there is NOTHING. There are no LEDs or other type of light where the headlights are. A total rip-off. How is this being sold on Amazon?
