I have used several other Bevel products and I'm highly impressed with just about all of them. So I decided to give the aftershave a shot, but I was very happy with what I was already using. Well, I'm ready to dump my old aftershave balm in the trash. This product is incredible and completely soothes my skin after a shave. I've become somewhat of a wet shave enthusiast so I tend to try different DE razors, shave creams and soap, but when I use the Bevel razor, shave cream and follow up with this aftershave balm, my face feels better than any other combination of products. And you don't need to use a lot of the aftershave, so although the container is small, I expect it will last quite a while. The other bonus is you can use this product on non-shave days as well. I know this sounds like a sales pitch but I was resistant to Bevel especially when they first started with the subscription program. But once I finally gave them a shot...I am highly impressed with the company and their products. This is one of their best. My only complaint is that there isn't much of a scent but it's actually OK especially when I'm using scented shave soaps.

What you might not think about after your shave in or out of the shower is the accumulation of hair bits/pieces not only on your face (and head if you shave that). You then use water and a towel to try to wash these bits away. However! Your just shaven face most likely catches the towels fabrics while also distributing the hair pieces all over rather than removing them. This no doubt leads to irritation, ingrown hairs, razor burn, and pimples. A pinky tip size amount of this product on each cheek, rubbed in circular motions, actually ejects the hair peices and fabric from your face. It reduces the redness from shaving and saves your face. Buy it :)

This product feels awesome on my face after using electric shaver. My skin is smooth, soft but firm feeling, and light pleasant aroma. I haven’t had any razor bumps since using this.

As the review says I was skeptical of this product at first mainly because the bevel brand heavily uses social media marketing. The reason I decided to pull the trigger on this is because of the ingredients - tea tree oil and salicylic acid are good for skin, specially to prevent razor bumps. Not a lot of after shave products include these ingredients because they can also be somewhat harsh on skin but I feel like the trade-off is worth it if you get razor bumps or ingrown hairs.Upon receiving the product and using it for the first time I noticed the bottle had no inner seal at all nor does it have a squeeze bottle type “spout” like you see on lotion or shampoo bottles, it’s just an open top. You could also clearly see inside the bottle that only about half of it is filled. As for the product itself, it has the same consistency as the cheap body lotion you get in hotel bathrooms. The fragrance is very underwhelming (pine?) but it doesn’t last long and this is just an aftershave so it’s not important.Initially after shaving I used the product and my neck area turned red and had a slight burning feel. I think this has to do with the salicylic acid. I was concerned at first but decided to wait to see what it looks like the next day. On day 2 I checked my neck area which typically gets razor bumps and was pleased to see that it was no longer red and there were no bumps. I’ve been using this product for 3 days now and so far have not gotten any negative reactions and my neck/face area looks smooth and without bumps.The product does work. If you don’t care about scent or packaging and you want something that’s effective against razor bumps then give this a try. For the cost it’s worth a trial.

Using the pre-shave oil helps avoid irritations later on. The pre-sjave oił is now a vital step in my shaving routine that has significantly decreased the typical post-shaving irritation and razor bumps.

I am allergic to almost every shave/after-shave product on the market but this lotion works great After I shave my head. It smells good, feels great, and no allergic reaction 🤷

Moisturizes and is an effective aftershave. You don’t need a lot- unless you have a larger than average face.
