Sunnyglade 9' Solar LED Lighted Patio Umbrella with 8 Ribs/Tilt Adjustment and Crank Lift System (Navy Blue)

I really like this umbrella and everything was going great until the second day of enjoying we had some moderate wind yesterday and the pole kinked when the wind caught the umbrella! The pole is definitely a thin metal aluminum type material which is why it bent so easily however I didn’t expect it to happen so quickly! Now what am I supposed to do?! An inexpensive umbrella is only a good deal if you don’t have to buy replacement parts less than a week into using it. I’m definitely disappointed but I guess you get what you pay for? I’m just glad no one was hurt.

Very very disappointed! Umberella is literally tearing apart, and unfortunately due to rain last month and we not using the umbrella and keeping it in the garage, I only just saw this defect and the window has closed to return it. Very dissatisfied

Bought the model with solar light. I had very high hopes for this umbrella, but unfortunately, the moment I opened it up, the top of the canvas fell off from the pole. The pole is attached to the canvas via a plastic adapter, and that plastic adapter is very fragile. The manufacture should have used metal instead. Had to return it to Amazon.

We loved the original umbrella: however, the LEDs on the umbrella would not work after a short time inferring that the solar cells were not recharging the battery for the LEDs. It was after the return period, so I contacted the seller about repair. Instead, the seller sent us a new replacement umbrella. The LEDs on the second umbrella have performed perfectly. So now I have two different color umbrellas and can switch the solar cells between the two. I promised that I would withhold my review until I gave the seller a chance to respond to my problem. You can't ask for more than a replacement product. I will always do return business with a seller who stands behind their products. Thank you again "Sunnyglade!"

When I purchased this, my husband gave me the look of “why do we need another patio umbrella?” But I had to point out it was solar. We were both skeptical about how well the solar would work. We are shocked. We live in Vancouver where sun is a treasure. It still gets enough sunlight to power the lights all night. He turns the on about 9pm so he can watch for our cat and says it is still on in the morning. I am going to pick up a second

For the price, this umbrella is a steal. The only issue is that in order to open it up, you need to basically stick your head under the entire umbrella, and then to retract the umbrella you have to awkwardly move your head from out under the umbrella before it closes. This maybe wouldn't be an issue if the lever to open and close the umbrella was situated lower, but this is just a small gripe that may not bother everyone.

I initially ordered and was guaranteed delivery by a specific day. Time enough to use for a party we were having. Order wasnt even processed or shipped for over a week. I let it slide with delayed deliveries because of this COVID nonsense. It was delivered June 3rd, and it just snapped in half today June 11th on a beautiful 80 degree day. In fact, I just put it back up today because we had storms over the last few days. So I took it down and kept it in the garage since it was brand new. The thing looks nice at night, but is so poorly built that it didnt even fold in half...it snapped cleanly into 2 pieces with a normal sublte breeze. No where near gusts. Super pissed and disappointed. I took the pictures immediatly after it happened so everyone can see its a beautiful day our right now.

I am quite happy with this umbrella. It’s lightweight making it easy to open and close. Very attractive. Water resistant. Provides great shade for my deck. The solar feature is awesome I especially like the fact that there’s an on/off switch for the lights so that the lights won’t be on when the umbrella is down. It charges even when in the off position. The lights are not too bright and provide just the right amount of lighting without looking gaudy.

Arrived June 26 ordered June 4 th as a regular delivery , sent via Fed Ex. Well packaged in corrugated cardboard box. Size and color exactly as requested. No packing slip listing set up instructions or special points. There is a square solar plate on top point of umbrella that came off during the unpacking and I was not aware of it until I saw it hanging down by the electric wire threaded through the central tubing. I did need to take umbrella down to try and reset it .The lights extend only on the 18 inches outer extension of each vein.There is an on/ off switch to turn lights, cast a blue tone when it is pitch black out. Has weathered some severe wind and lightning rain storms well so far, always folded down before storm begins.
