Sorry, K658 only comes with a solid tripod stand which is portable enough for out-of-box testing or travelling on the road. But K658 package also included a 3/8" to 5/8" adapter. So you can screw it onto any standard boom arm stand by using the included 3/8" to 5/8" adapter. You can choose the best selling one within your budget.

Q: Would this be good for podcasts?

Yes, it is good for podcasting. K658 is a dynamic microphone, it will pick up less ambient noise than a typical condenser microphone. We would recommend to adjust the on-board volume about 40-60%, and set the input level of computer during +15.0 to +20.0dB , but speak a bit closer to the mic capsule (around 2-4 inches).
