ALL BOATERS BEWARE
Marvel does not provide any parts and labor warranty during their first one year period or after if this freezer is installed on a fresh or salt water boat of any kind. I recently had to pay $ 160.00 to replace the failed electronic control. The control failed within seven months of purchase and it did not show any signs of corrosion at all ! We live on a trawler that is totally dry inside the living quarters no difference than living in a house. One plus for Marvel is that the inside shelf design is very nice and easy to use. However, too bad that their warranty description does not mention that all boats are excluded from their warranty. If they did, I certainly would not have purchased the freezer. Hopefully, Marvel revises their written warranty ASAP.
