Expensive but nice to use.
An expensive choice but neat and stylish, Being rechargeable rather than having standard batteries is excellent, a charge lasts a couple of months in daily family use.

Exactly as described. Good quality and works as it should.
An Apple product. Well packaged and great quality but, as always, expensive. You get what you pay for.

Great product - if only it had illuminated keys
Build quality and aesthetically this a very nice product. The battery life is excellent. The keyboard response is excellent and comfortable to use, it highly portable so I always take it when I am working away if I know I will have a good working environment. My only quibble is that there is no option to purchase with illuminated keys, if that had been available it would be 5*

It’s a kind of magic!
There can be only one… proper keyboard for your Mac.Just unwrap it, plug to your Mac so it can pair automatically, and voila. You are ready to go and reign the World, the Instagram, Tik Tok and whatever is on top now!Is it the best Mac keyboard, then? Hmmm…I like previous design more. I think that whole idea - design and execution - is flawless, even against today’s standards (damn, how that sounds).Batteries compartment gives keyboard perfect steep, ideal for longer sessions of typing. It’s sleek but has this drop of heftiness in it, if there is such word. On the downside it was losing connection occasionally, not sure why.Yet this new one is also pretty cool.Slimmer and lighter, as it doesn’t need AA batteries - which added some weight - anymore.Downside is… that we will see how long this rechargeable battery lasts. You can always chuck in some new AA batteries while built in battery can’t be replaced. Still, it should have a few good years of life ahead of it.Let’s be honest, I will probably swap it at some point to one of these cool mechanical keyboards anyway… or not?Slim profile and lightness makes it worth considering as a travel keyboard. Why not? Just get it a nice sleeve/cover and pack together with your iPad. Oh wait… we will come back to this later…Keys size and layout differs somehow from the previous iteration, that can be frustrating at the beginning if you are used to write without looking at the keyboard. It will trick your muscle memory and you’ll find yourself hitting the wrong buttons or two/three of them at the same time. But you’ll get housed to it quickly. Also keystroke seems to be more shallow than the previous version. Is that an issue? Not for me.How does it work with Apple devices? Well that’s a silly question as it was made to do exactly that! You’ve got all the special keys and key combinations meant to make your life easier while using Apple stuff. So you think, yay, great… I could use it with my Mac, my iPad and an iPhone if needed! Yay… no. You can pair it with one device only and that’s that.Sounds like a joke while even cheapest bluetooth devices allow you to pair them with a three different machines at least. If you would like to share your keyboard between a few Apple machines then you’ll have to unpair/pair it every time. Silly. Also, no backlight. Personally I don’t really need this. Yet competitors offers that function even in much cheaper keyboards.Overall… is it the beautiful, state of art keyboard that makes every second you type on it an ecstasy? No.It is beautiful. Minimalistic, clean design. Combination of white plastic and aluminium is simple and pure, aesthetic heaven. This is what you expect of Apple, right? That’s why you pay more than you actually should. When it comes to typing… It is responsive , there is no visible delay while typing and that’s great. Apparently it is one of the quickest keyboards in the Apple market, wow. When it comes to comfort… It won’t offer you this long keystroke, it won’t give you that cool sound as mechanical keyboard does. It’s plain… somehow. There is nothing to complain about yet at the same time nothing to be excited about. What it is offering to you is a perfect medium between you and your Apple device. It won’t give you any special experience or feelings wile using it, that’s not the idea behind this product. It rather stays invisible. It looks great on your desk and is no obstacle in your workflow. You just use it and don’t even think about it. Isn’t it what Apple is meant to be? Focus on your workflow, not on the tools you are using to achieve your goals. These tools do their job without you thinking about this.

This is an Apple product!
I already have a magic keyboard, which came with my iMac in 2018, and I wanted to use it with my iPad pro. This was a recent epiphany and today I thought I would try it. However, I quickly discovered that you can’t just connect the keyboard to another device, it has to be unpaired from its current device and then paired to another! What a pfaff that was and I knew wasn’t going to work for me. Ok, i’ll get a new one and use the old one for the iPad and the new one on the Mac. This was the best price I could find for a new one, so I bought it. Same day delivery, perfect.Rookie mistake, I didn’t read the reviews and some were saying that this wasn’t a ‘Genuine Apple product’. It arrived before time, set it up, I didn’t even have to use the cable. It’s identical to the one I already have and the packaging was spot on. Connecting it couldn’t have been easier. I unpaired the old one ( in settings clicked on Bluetooth then removed the old one from the list) switched on the new one and the iMac recognised it immediately. I clicked on connect, job done. The long and short of it? If this isn’t a genuine Apple product… Steve Jobs founded Microsoft and no one’s heard of Mark Zuckerberg!
