Packed "like sardines" With Positives

I have always disliked sardines, but ate them anyway, as a healthy addition to my salads. Tiny Tots are delicious ! I'm addicted to this great source of nutrients . The high-quality olive oil is a bonus . The easy-open can is perfect for a travel lunch. My little dog likes to share. He gets very excited when he sees the can!

Had a hard time finding these

These were my favorite sardines for a long time and I wasn't able to find them to often any more. I only found the single layer at Grocery and was so please to find these multlilayered TinyTots again.

Like the tiny sardines I enjoyed as a kid!

I didn't know these tiny sardines we still available! Typical sardines in my grocery store are huge and chalky -- packed 4-to-a-can. These cans hold maybe 12 to 15 tasty fish.

Four Stars

There just as good as king oskers, But not the extra price.

Just right!

I love the small sardines in the double-layer cans, but find them difficult to consistently find in local stores. These are perfect!

I DON'T GET IT

I do not understand all the positive reviews. These were some of the worst sardines I have ever tasted--way too salty, mushy and not tiny at all. they are the same size as the King Oscar cross pack, which are superior to these. I would not recommend them at all. Yuck. Terrible.

cute as buttons, but not my favorite style of sardine

I purchased these sardines, as well as the regular king oscar double layer which are similar, because of the positive references to these "tiny tots" on different reviews for sardines of all kinds here, and cannot help but share that I was disappointed. I was able to try one can due to an issue with my 3 pack order but, even within the realm of us folks who enjoy canned fish, sardines in particular, it is all an acquired taste, and tastes do differ. some folks like their sardines big, some small. I tend to enjoy all varieties of a favorite thing for their own merits, but I cannot join the club in favor of these tiny tots. they are not just tiny--they are soft, mushy and flavorless. I am a fan of bela portuguese sardines, which are huge (maybe 4 sardines per can), plump, and very, very meaty. they are firm sardines that can stand up to a fork without a problem, and feel like a substantial fish meal. I like that. they also taste and smell incredible. but that is my personal preference. I gave these tiny guys a chance and I know I would have liked them just fine, had I not found them to be mushy and flavorless. I sprinkled some paprika on them and ate them anyway. they were not at all unpalatable, just not my cup of fish tea. they were tail-on and headless, and they were clean enough and packed nicely. I have no complaints. but I will not be trading in my belas for these or any other tiny sardines any time in the future. if these are the sardines you grew up with and you have some nostalgic associations with them, then these will likely always hold a special place in your heart. but if you do have an opportunity to try bela, I highly recommend you do so, specially the plain olive oil variety: Bela-Olhao Lightly Smoked Sardines in Olive Oil, 4.25 Ounce -- 12 per case you may discover something you've been missing out on, and may enjoy switching it up from time to time (hey, I gave your tiny tots a shot) ; ) two other brands that I highly recommend are sclafani: Skinless and Boneless Portuguese Sardines in Pure Olive Oil Eight Packs of 3.75 Oz Net Weight and angelo parodi: ( http://www.amazon.com/Angelo-Parodi-Portuguese-Mackerel-Fillets/dp/B001UFZETQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1429639685&sr=1-3&keywords=angelo+parodi+sardines). they are both equally delicious, and are also both a bit smaller than the bela, though definitely larger and more substantial (meatier, etc) than these tiny tots. (btw, both brands are 3.99 at your local italian grocer, just slightly more expensive than the belas). I think you will enjoy all three of my favorites. please share with me any favorites that you might have--I would love to try them! : ) cheers!
