Does the job by allowing flexibility in ride height. I have lowered my Softail Slim approximately 3/4 of an inch with no degradation of ride quality. 2 things to note. I tried to use my drill press to compress the spring first. NO WAY! Luckily I have huge heavy duty vise which worked fine. Secondly the space between the frame and the right side shock rear bolt is a pain in the arse but doable. You need both a motorcycle jack and a floor jack which I strapped to the rear wheel for safety to complete this install. Oh yeah, spray the bolts with penetrating oil the night before.

These worked out great in helping to lower my '05 Heritage Softail. The kit was easy to install with the help of some friends who were helping a short girl out. I loved that they came with complete step-by-step illustrated instructions since I'm still learning, too. Great job and I highly recommend BlackPath!

These helped lower my softail a bit.

This lowering kits makes a huge difference. Im 5’4” used it to lower my 05 Heritage I am able to plant my feet down and feel more control of the bike. I was able to get my bike 2” lower on the rear. You will need a press when disassembling the schlock but it’s not difficult to do.

Very inexpensive solution to lowering a Harley Softail... I have a 08 Heritage and it worked great! I love the way the bike looks and feels! My bike is 2 inches lower now!

The only issue I had was with the directions. The photos are not real clear. It makes it difficult to see what needs done

YOU WILL NEED a press. Plus, jack up your rear tire into the fender or you will have a hassle. CS could have been a little more knowledgeable with that piece of info. Nice product.
