Golden Books Old MacDonald Had a Farm

I had these books as a young child and it is nice that I can buy them for my grandchild to enjoy.

My children have loved singing the "Old MacDonald" song since they were toddlers and they still request it as a bedtime story. This book is durable and has held up well to multiple readings. Like this book, they have a variety of animals on the farm which are lovely for little ones . I made some finger puppets to go with the story and my grandchildren love hearing the noises, great fun especially when mimicking a turkey. The only down side is the pages are quite flimsy so you have to be careful with little ones turning the pages.
