I’ve been using this face wash for about 15 years. I was in love with the fact that it had no fragrance or dye and washed off smoothly leaving your face feeling squeaky clean. It lathered perfectly as well. I noticed in recent years it became increasingly hard to find so I would stockpile it whenever I could find it. I ran out recently so I went to order more but the original 6 oz bottle with the clear red top is no longer sold. This 5 oz white tube is the only option. The new version is advertised as being the same formula so I ordered immediately. IT IS NOT THE SAME! It doesn’t lather the same, doesn’t rinse the same, and it has a weird soapy smell that it never had before. It doesn’t even apply as smooth. I still had a bottle of the original version so I compared the ingredients and they are NOT the same! I’m so disappointed that Cremo has ruined the perfect face wash!

This is essentially the same great product as the previous Cremo Face Wash that was packaged in a small bottle with a red cap. I say "almost" because it seems slightly less slippery than the old formulation, despite a note on the tube that suggests it's identical (I still have some of the old product for comparison). That said, this is still my favorite face wash. Not soapy. Not drying. It's great for a fresh rinse before going to bed, or for washing off sunscreen after a day of skiing.

I have used Cremo Daily Face Wash for about 8 years. Although this formula is a little different from the original, I don’t see a difference in the effectiveness. I would prefer the old formula because I liked the slick feel of it, but it still works great. If you are looking for a mild soap free face wash, this is it!!

Love the product, hate the fact they changed the bottle and sell it for the same price and an oz less...looks like they changed the formula up a bit too. Don't think that the bottle wasn't Designed so that some drips ought it you don't choose it before you turn it back to set it down either...Cremo didn't miss a trick on this change up.
