These wicks burn really well. They were easy to place in the jars I purchased to go with them. Need a little extra hand strength to cut the wicks are they are thick and sturdy.

I was nervous about the negative reviews but these wicks worked perfectly for me. I used one in a 3 inch diameter glass jar. I didn’t soak it prior to pouring the wax and it burns all the way edge to edge. I didn’t trim the wick short but left it about 3/8” tall. I melted down remnants of old candles so I’m guessing it’s just normal wax and nothing fancy. This was so much easier to use than regular wicking and the crackle is nice to listen to!

I've used this product primarily to recycle partially burned candles that no longer have a viable wick, or doesn't burn properly because of how the candle melted during normal use. I have enjoyed the process thoroughly! You quickly find out why you must follow the process, as the instructions state, otherwise you could possibly cause harm and/or the finished product doesn't burn as well as it should. The choice of enclosing wooden wicks, instead of the usual wicks, is an interesting decision.

Update: I would definitely buy again. They do leave a little discoloration from the wood burn in my paraffin blend wax but not so much in my soy. The flowers smell great but Don’t put them close to the wicks (of course). These are best for medium size jars/vessels around 3-4” diameter nothing less than 3” I’ll say, but as long as it’s trimmed correctly there shouldn’t be a problem. It’s kind of tricky getting the wicks in the holder but you’ll get the hang of it. If using a square shape vessel/jar I’d suggest putting it in on an angle (not just straight across) to get more of a full pool. I could go on and on about these. Great for the price, quality and quantity. The flame may be a little high at the start but keep an eye on it and make sure the container isn’t too hot, it’ll go down. Wouldn’t leave it lit more than 2 hrs for smaller jars but bigger and thicker jars it’s great. I take that back about only needing one wick, two is definitely better and needed for that nice clean pool.Great sticks for beginners like myself. Would prefer one stick instead of two per candle but then again I’m a beginner. I like the look of them burning and the slight crackle. I doused a few in oil but didn’t smell or see a difference. Make sure to get them stuck together with the wax otherwise you’ll have noticeable gap. Also love the fact they give us so many with wick holders (I they think that’s what they’re called). I tried them in all different kinds of containers/vessels and noticed they’re too hot for glass containers but then again I’m a beginner.

I purchased these when I started my journey of candle making. I prefer wooden wicks because they make candles very elegant. These wicks are way too thin. They burn up before they even get started and they do not stay lit. I would not recommend this product at all.

This is my first time using wood wicks for candle making. I felt the wicks are awesome and burn well. They are easy to use. I feel the flowers are to big to add to candles, for fear the flowers will catch on fire and could result in a house fire. I will use flowers for other projects.

I tested these wood wicks in several different candles with same wax but different size containers and fragrances. All but one wouldn’t stay lit. I never heard the crackling sound. Melt pool was uneven. I was really hoping these would work

I have tested a couple different wooden wicks from multiple sellers and this seller has the best wooden wicks by far. I coated the wicks with oil. The wicks produce a nice crackling sound. I used a single wick that creates an even burn across the top of the candle with no tunneling. The extra flowers are a bonus. I did have an issue with the wick not staying put in the anchor however, I used a pair of needle nose pliers to crimp the metal stand to the wick. I am ordering more.
