Totally recommended, the lights are great, stands are very good too.

Assembling the reflectors is a pain, each corner has to be inserted individually, the last of 4 are under a lot of tension, it could be made so much easier.The diffuser material is very thin, typical of cheaper systems.The lights themselves I quite like, the remote allows each one to be controlled seperatly too. If you can keep the lights assembled then these aren't bad units, I found the diffuser a bith thin and gave hotspots! Also one of my tripods had a wing nut missing!

I needed to upgrade my lighting and newer has done me well a few times so thought I'd give these a shot. They are quirky to assemble. Bit like a pop up tent that doesnt pop very well. I found putting 2 rods opposite each other tensions the tent and still leaves enough space to put rods 3 and 4 in. The remote is ace. Each light can have its tone and brightness adjusted independently or as a set. I bought batteries separately but havent had need to use them yet. The over head light is great. You do need to put sand in the weight but that isnt an issue and the ad did state that. Packs up into one bag. If I could find any fault the bag is flimsy but if that's the only compromise then it's well worth it. I'd question what more youd get paying much more for other brands.

The diffusion is the worst part - it doesn't evenly catch light (it makes a hotspot in the middle like most cheap soft boxes) otherwise it's a brilliant kit. Though the boxes are a bit of faff to assemble

Nice entry into led lighting but you soon feel like you need something with a bit more power.

It is not the easiest to assemble, but once you figure out how to do it, everything is great. The lights are bright and can be adjusted to suit whatever warmth you want. The gels work perfectly, the blue is slightly more transparent than expected but I just layered the gels and it was perfect.

So noisy when turned on ,, add to background noise ,, can be heard in the background of recordings
