My teen age daughter has been taking this for about 3 months now to help her sleep and love it, now my husband started about a week ago and he is actually sleeping deep and feeling rested in the morning! Very recommended!!!

Effective
It very nice to calm you down. Works a bit slow. It’s not like your regular sleeping pill. So it really depends on what you’re looking for. If you have severe sleeping problems it may not be for you.

works when others did not
I can't say this product puts me to sleep fast and allows me to stay asleep all night - but, for me, it is a very good product for occasional sleeplessness. For years, products that were for bedtime (PMs) or had melatonin, worked great. They allowed me to get to sleep fast and wake up rested. Then, for some reason, no matter what product that I tried, if it was a sleep-aid it would give me the jitters all night; if I slept for an hour or two the entire night, that was a lot. I tried various products and all affected me the same: jitters all night long. When I saw this product did not have any of the ingredients that the others had, I gave it a try. It does not work as effectively as the others had prior, but it also gave me some level of sleep - whereas, without using anything, I usually would be up for 3-4 hours before falling asleep. If I find sleep is difficult to achieve, I take these and within about 45 minutes I am asleep and if I wake up later, I quickly fall back asleep, with no groggies in the morning.

Works beautifully
my husband and I have been using this for a while. We were experiencing some anxiety for a little bit and having a hard time falling asleep/staying asleep. This stuff has helped tremendously for me. It works really fast for my husband, he likes to take it a little bit earlier in the night Because it takes a while to kick in for him so I’m sure it varies for each person when I take it I am very ready to go to bed within 15 minutes. I don’t feel groggy in the morning or like I have a hard time waking up. I’ve had no side effects at all. If you’re having an extra bad night falling asleep we like to pair it with the coffea Cruda pellets from this same brand. Works like a charm.

Does Help Me...
I'll get to my review below but first things first... a talk for the people who really can't sleep and are suffering for weeks/months on end -I feel your pain. Right, so any sleeping aid is going to either work or not depending on what the underlying problem is that is keeping you awake -is it physical (aches/pain, hormonal imbalances, having to pee many times per night, restless leg, breathing issues, diabetes, heart issues, blood pressure, etc.), is it emotional/psychological/trauma/neurologic/psychiatric (stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar, etc.)... so many possible combinations of why you can't sleep. Stress from work, Covid, your neighbors, pests (ants can drive you nuts if you are on the West Coast)... you name it. Maybe even a vitamin deficiency, or you are taking too many things that cause insomnia -coffee addiction is a good example. So, don't expect any sleep aid to be a miracle for you -you have to work on the underlying problems even while taking pills to help you sleep. Things like eating healthy -adding certain well-being foods to meet your nutritional needs and keep your body in balance (especially if you have vitamin/mineral deficiencies, allergies/sensitivities, candida, leaky gut, or are just getting older... and also don't overdo supplements or pain meds as that can even be worse for your liver/kidneys or exacerbate insomnia). Walking and other forms of exercise can also help along with any combo of yoga, meditation, affirmations, listening to relaxing music or doing some relaxing hobby to destress while avoiding upsetting things and emotional triggers -horror movies, staying on phones/internet too much and being addicted to your devices or work, overthinking situations/relationships -folks, you know who you are and it's probably most of you reading this... ruminating on significant others but even family members or co-worker boss stuff at times. Some people have real worries about illness and money problems concerning themself or loved ones. It's all understandable why so many people have insomnia at times. So, now... I have had horrible insomnia for about 5-6 months and eating well/supplements/walking/meditating wasn't taking it away -melatonin didn't help much either but I did have some minor relief from magnesium (maybe I was deficient) and stopping coffee for a week or so at a time to give my over-stressed adrenal system a rest (thyroid, adrenal issues, too little serotonin and too much cortisol or other stress hormones can all be culprits contributing to lack of and poor quality sleep). It became so terrible that I thought I'll die if I don't get some quality sleep soon after so many months f this. I decided to try these because I trust and have had good experience with Boiron. I like that it is quality controlled, gentle, and natural as well as non-addicting and not likely to harm my kidneys/liver or interfere with other supplements I take, which is all very important in a sleep aid. I've been taking these for two weeks now and have had good results. I still wake up many times in the night (to pee) and no sleep aid is going to fix that issue. However, I take two as instructed and let them fully dissolve while under my tongue -if you are swallowing, chewing, or dissolving these in your cheeks or on the top of your tongue you are doing it wrong. They are sublingual... you have to let them mix with your saliva but let them dissolve only under your tongue so they can be efficiently and rapidly absorbed by your body. The first couple of days, I took two before bedtime and also two in the middle of the day... just to help reset my clock faster -it worked. After so many months where I was not able to fall asleep until the middle of the night and exhausted all day long, I finally started to fall asleep more readily after lying down and have been waking up early -like 5 AM -and wanting to go to bed early (sometime between 8 and 10 every night). So, I still wake up often to go pee, BUT I fall asleep right after most times and even when I'm awake and not sleeping... I feel chill and relaxed. I feel like the overall quality of my rest in bed and my sleep is better. I've always had insane dreams, so I don't feel like it's changed that too much, but some other reviewers did mention dreaming more or more vividly (some mentioned nightmares). I didn't have any weird dream experiences that I would necessarily attribute to the pills. How to describe how I feel is less anxious and more calm/relaxed. I don't have that feeling of stress/nervousness/anxiousness about physical and emotional pain that keeps me awake to the same extent I did before. So, even if I am not sound asleep all night, my body and mind feels so much more rested than before where the insomnia was really destroying my health and well-being. You may sleep thru the entire night with these or you may continue to wake up and then quickly go back to sleep... or you may still have periods of just being awake; however, you should feel much calmer and relaxed even if you still can't sleep the whole night. Some reviewers said they did, indeed, sleep all night with these. Everyone's experience will be different. Some additional tips... try two before bed and if you need to reset your internal wake/sleep cycle you can take an extra one when you wake up during the night or during the day. I wouldn't exceed more than 3-4 of these in a day and only for a few days to reset -thereafter, try to reduce to no more than 2 a day or an occasional third pill. I also don't think it's good to take any sleep aid continuously for long periods of time... so maybe try a day or two with no pills or at least don't take these for more than a month straight without taking a break for some days. I also sometimes drink warm milk with a well-steeped Sleep Time tea bag -during the day or before bed. That with these pills are doing the trick.Good luck to you on your sleep journey -remember to stay hydrated (adding some organic lemon juice to water is awesome for you), address any vitamin/mineral deficiencies, health problems, and pain management, as well as avoid insomnia triggers like eating too much carbs/sugar/high sodium junk food (a reasonable amount of healthy fat is your best friend for health and even weight loss), eating late at night, drinking too much coffee or caffeinated beverages, if you smoke/vape cut back and stop if you can, open the windows and get a little fresh air, walk/exercise, drink relaxing herbal teas with or without warm milk, drink A2 milk and cut back on too much dairy, try to eat organic foods/non-gmo/no hormones or antibiotics, cut back on meat and frozen/restaurant/fast food, and just try to have more fun and stress less. Avoid reading/watching too much negative news and violent/hyper sexualized tv, the stupidity of all social media (which is 99% trash garbage that you really don't need in your life and us older people lived better since the dawn of civilization without it), and prepare for bed by unplugging everything except maybe some relaxing music and meditation videos. Reading, journaling, doing some kind of art are great before sleep. Letting things go, taking good care of your mental health/emotional well-being is one of the best things you can do. These little pills may help some of you calm down a bit and stop obsessing/ruminating/having racing thoughts or letting your problems overwhelm you. I do recommend them and wish you all the best and restorative sleep and good health.
