Based on reviews, I thought that I could order the size small for my son who is 13-months-old, 29 inches tall, and wears a size 4 infant shoe. I expected them to be a little large, but these socks are much too big! They stay on his feet, but they’re baggy and awkward-looking. I believe size 6 would be a better starting point for the size small socks. Size 5 could wear them too, but they’d be a bit big. I will say, though, that these would be great socks for wide feet! I could have used these for my Flinstone-footed older son.The photos show a comparison of size small socks to a size 4 & size 5 infant shoe. Even the Garanimals socks shown in the photo are much smaller, and they are labeled 18-36 m. (For reference, size 4 infant shoe corresponds to size 6 to 12 month shoes. Size 5 infant shoe corresponds to size 12 to 18 month shoe.) The socks measure 4.5 inches from toe to heel when not stretched.

I love these socks! First of all, I opted for the single-color socks because I really can't spend any more hours of my life trying to differentiate the white socks with one thick blue stripe form the white socks with two thin blue stripes, etc. The fit is awesome. My chunky baby often suffers from elastic cutting into his legs but the cut and design of these socks allow them to stay on without sliding down but don't dig into his rolly poly ankles. Lastly, the entire reason I sought out grippy socks was to help my pre-toddler propel his walker across our hardwood floor which was near impossible in other socks whose textured soles still slid over smooth surfaces. These socks are just as good at gripping the floor as his chubby toes without letting his feet get cold. He's currently tearing through our living room, happily crashing into walls in his baby-bumper car. This would not have been possible without such awesome socks. I'm a happy mama!

Overall I love these and can use them for my younger son but I’m still in a quandary. The size claimed 4-7 and these are way too small for my big 4yr old. There’s no large for me to purchase and so that’s why I’m not going to give a higher score since I cannot resolve my purchase needs. This was the perfect product as far as no slip no and great gripping but not the size it stated. I was not able to find it any larger either! Also, Any other stated size4-7 I’ve tried has worked fine. Just beware of size not being as big as it states but overall if you need a great non slip sock these are it!

My 10 month old grandson is furniture walking and sometimes slips on the hardwood floors when trying to pull himself up. Shoes won't stay on his feet, and it's too cold to go barefoot, so I ordered these gripper socks. So glad I did! Most gripper socks don't have grippers that cover the whole sole of the foot. These do and they stay on well.

My son loves socks - so even tough we live in the southwest he wears socks ALL THE TIME. Tried brand name baby stores and the like - and I love these the most. They don't pill and snag easily like some other brands. This is my THIRD time ordering these socks. By the time I give the school, daycare, mom, sister and extra clothes in each of our cars and park bag I need more socks! Like that I never have to worry about matching them because they are all the same! yeah. Also, we have tile floors and the grips are great.

I wanted socks with grips for my 3 year old daughter. Expecting some shrinkage, I ordered the size M, age M 4-7 for her average size feet. Brand new, they looked small, but they stretched enough to work. After washing, however, the shrinkage was ridiculous. I shared a photo of the M, age 4-7 sock after washing next to a typical fitting toddler size 10 shoe to show that it shrunk to the size of an infant sock. Very disappointed because, otherwise, they were exactly what I was looking for.

These socks are smaller than I expected, but they stretch alright. They’re not thick, so not ideal for cold weather, but they do the job: they have a great grip underneath. I recommend this product because the bottom makes them a great anti-slip sock.

I LOVE these socks. They are easy to get on and off, and stay put once they are on, even though they are low profile. The higher section on the back means they don't slip down into the shoe. They look as good as new even after repeated washings. And, since they are all the same, I don't have to waste time pairing them up. Petfect!
