I installed 72 St Augustine grass plugs today and this tool made the job much easier. It plugs right into any drill. The hole it makes was just the right size to fit the plug which was about 3 inches. I ran into no issues with the auger breaking through the soil since it was softened up from rain the night before. 5 starts from me since it saved me time and effort, This is a must have tool for any yard/garden project.

Bought these to help my wife plant some spring bulbs. Worked great but take notice you really have to use two hands when holding the drill . The auger will yank it right out of your hand if you’re not careful.

I was expecting something flimsy but this is thick and strong. When I tried it I worked great. Great deal for the money. Will last forever.

Totally impressed by this auger bit. I planted about 200 bulbs yesterday and this made it fast, easy and fun. My Ridgid drill has an anti-kickback feature which likely saved the auger (and my wrist) a few times when I hit some big roots. But even without that feature, the build quality on this is very good and it seems very durable. The main selling point for me was the double helix design and the positive reviews. Highly recommended!

It looks sturdy enough the welds are smooth and seem to have penetration.The only exception I take right out of the box is the hex drive. It's a hex, it will fit a 3/8" and larger hand drill just fine. But if you want to use an extension, as I plant to, you are out of luck unless like me you have a machine shop in your garage.The hex is no standard size, not metric, not imperial it's just a hex of no specific dimension. So there will be no extension made anywhere that can fit it. I'll make my own. I'm OK with that. I plan on using it to agitate (till) the soils in my grow barrels so they soil l doesn't become compacted.

This product works wonders. It cuts the time in more than half for planting it’s very easy to use and makes it simple to dig deeply and widely

Remember to use a 18 volt or more drill or risk burning out a light weight one. Hang on tight in case you catch a root or you risk wrist injury

Absolutely useless, even a small stone in the soil removes the bit from the drill, I tried with different drill machine but that again wasted time as well

Looks good and was delivered the next day. Haven’t had a chance to use yet but looking forward to it

It ok but could be better quality

Great product. Digs holes well. So much cheaper than anywhere else. Great quality, will save you so much time and from pain in the garden.
